I just want more people to know about these games, played the original on 360 way back in the day and eventually 2 as well on both 360 and PC. Such a great game and it breaks my heart to see it not get a 3rd game but I can see why.

1:23 i love that sound of the void eccoing within the darkness, that shit still gives me chills. This was a great game series they really need to make a part 3 for real.
I don't think Keanu Reeves would be a good choice. Keep in mind Jackie gets his powers at age 21. Keanu is too old. I think it should be some young and a newcoming actor. In others a no name actor
My favorite FPS. It's fluid, not much in the arsenal but you can dual wield, the enemies do propose a challenge, the art style is amazing and the darkness arms allow you to do really sick shit. The story is nothing complex, but it's touching. The voice acting is perfect and the asylum for my first playthrough kinda made me doubt what was real and what's on Jackie's mind. Still to this day i call some friend to play some Vendetta, since Steam gave it for free a few years ago.
I've seen a couple people making comments about how much ammo the pistols had etc., so just to answer that: as you go through the game you can get new powers, and one of these is basically unlimited ammo clips where the darkness makes/supplies bullets for a short period of time
Please 2K, add the darkness 1 and 2 games to backwards compatible Xbox-one list or do a re-master of both the darkness 1&2 for current Gen consoles and pc and give us the darkness 3 sequel game 👍😊

I like the fast pace action-packed game. Though I prefer the graphics, open world, and stealth or making one almost invisible in pitch black its predecessor has. Nonetheless, I hope The Darkness III is coming soon.
I am 36 and have gamed since I was very small, I diddnt get to play the first game but I played Darkness 2 and out of ALL the games I have played... I have never had such a power rush in my LIFE!! till playing Darkness 2! the things said from the darkness the feel of power... it was a heady rush with some unique situations, truly breath taking, not just a game but a true work of art in itself.
I still want a sequel to this game, being able to chain a combo of dismemberment with a Lovecraftian Demon is something I didn't get to do anywhere but here.

Imagine them making Jackie have like 3 different play styles if they ever made TD3. •One could fully utilize his darkness armor from the comics were he relies more on physical attacks. •One could be just like TD2. •One could Focus more on him using Darkness minions of all sorts. I’d also be Great if they added some more free roam aspects and leaned harder into the comic side of the stories while keeping Continuity with the first two games. Also keep the Voice actor from TD2, love that guy.
