A lot of your critiques are actually explained in the movie but I can understand where it got a little confusing! I watched it by myself at midnight in a city I wasn’t familiar with so (out of fear) I was hyper focused 😂.
The fact Jean jacket doesn’t like the flag was because it ate a fake horse and was choking on it, which is why the flag was sticking out. It isn’t scared of the flag, it’s scared that anything that has a flag will hurt it like the fake horse did.
The predator thing is not as much a “predators don’t eat thing that don’t make eye contact” it’s a territorial animal thing. That’s why they kept showing the monkey in the show at the beginning killing the cast. Because monkeys are territorial and when another creature makes eye contact with a territorial creature, it seen as a sign of aggression. It wasn’t that Jean Jacket doesn’t eat prey that doesn’t look at it, it specifically attacks people that do look at it: whether it’s hunting or not. Jean Jacket predates on horses but attacks humans for looking at it, but because it only has the one “attack” it all looks like it’s just hunting. Now it’s a bit unclear how our main protagonists makes those leaps, they say it’s because he’s worked with animals (since they’re family’s whole thing is stunt horses for films)
Them figuring out JJ was a creature and not a UFO Is honestly something I don’t fully understand yet though! It seems like it’s because they figured out that JJ hunts and eats regularly and stays in one place, unlike a spaceship trying to invade or Research would.
I’m glad you explained this lol, I think they found out it was an animal because it didn’t move like a spaceship. Like if aliens in a ship were sitting down while it pounced and glided over hills then they’d get hurt even if they were buckled in
imo its the shrieking and sounds from the horse that it first predates that makes the protagonist draw the conclusion that its not a ship rather an animal. Also interesting how the "eye contact" thing portrayed with the horse kicking the cast in early scene when he saw reflection on the casting area
A lot of the logical leaps the protagonist takes can probably be explained by how experienced he is with animals. He’s been around horses since he was born so I think it would be easy to identify those animalistic patterns.
This is impressive how people can write a whole book about ufos (sorry didn’t really read it 😅) in the comments

I LOVED the rainbow flag string trick!!
He used a fake horse with a rainbow string to trick it.
The UFO hated it so bad it “peed” on the house.
So when it saw a real horse with the rainbow flag on it, it was like, “Nope! Not getting tricked again!”
GENIUS!!!
What makes this UFO scarier is that it’s a giant predatory organism rather than a spaceship.
Sounds more like an UAP.
The reason the UFO was afraid of the rainbow flag in the movie was because when it ate the fake horse that had the rainbow flag wrapped around it, it’s windpipe or maybe it’s stomach track got clogged causing it pain, and since it saw the rainbow flag with the fake horse, it associated the rainbow flag with pain, because of what happened when it ate the fake horse, so like a regular animal, it learned and wanted to avoid that experience to avoid the pain.

I’m pretty sure the reason why the Alien was irritated by eating things with flags was probably because it was like trying to swallow hair lol.
I love it how Elias just made sure that Timmy lived this time (03:28-04:18) and how he has a tempter tantrum at the end (09:54-10:06)

The rainbow flag was tied to the fake horse and so when the alien tried to eat the fake horse it couldn't digest it right and messed it up. So whenever the alien sees a rainbow flag it just avoids it to not get messed up again

This movie's alien is not even comparable to that one chimpanzee scene. I'm forever scarred because of that
I did some digging and i found out your highest viewed video ever was 16M that was 3 or 4 years ago.
After steven left the channel your highest video 1.1M and that was a spike.The channel has gained around 3k subscribers in around 2 years.

Letting steven go so easily was the worst.
Mistake ever we need some sort of group to even try to replicate what used to be. A youtube channel named reycryo took opertunity after the channels down fall now mimic the old format with views around 1.3M to 500k.
And the change hit stevens channel pretty hard aswell in order for the channels future survival i hope the everyone from horror island comes back i think that was the best team so far. Or atleast a group of around that many people.
