- In this dvd collection video I show a tour of my basement where I keep all my dvds. I show my shelves, the posters on my wall, my toys and basically everything I have down their.
12 years since I first saw this vid and I still keep coming back to watch coolduder's tour of his basement (where his dvds are). There's something comforting about it. What I wouldn't give to be back in 08.

Damn, I wish I had a basement. Got a classic adobe townhouse in the desert.
Nice selection, you have me topped in a big way. I have 3 dvd towers that I have stacked on top of each other. They are ment to do that also. It's about 8ft tall and full and all alphabetized. Bottom shelves are for tv series, documentaries, and music dvds. I also have an overflow tower.
I love the deco job, very snazzy.

OHMYGOODNESS I lOVE YOUR BASEMENT!! It is so HUGE! Can I move in? LOL! But seriously it's like a little museum down there with dvds and memorbillia. The thought occured to me though, "What if you were to ever move?!" All that packing you'd have to do! That would be insane!
Also: I think it's great that your dad's a photographer. Looks like you come from a home with people, with a lot of passions/loves and that's nice to see.

Wow I thought I was the only one who used a Toshiba HD DVD player for upconvert. I use a Toshiba HD A-30. I play all dvd's and backup dvd's on this player awesome picture quality on an HD Sony Bravia. my main dvd player also. I Use it over my Blu-Ray player and a Sony 5 disc dvd upconvert player.
Man, I wish I had a basement like yours! My basement flooded last weekend and ruined a bunch of my guitar stuff.

the reason mj you dont play old games on newer tvs is that they use to burn an image into the screen if you paused it and let set for a while cause the old games when in standby mode (while not playing) did not have any moving animations on the screen outher then when you first turn the game on but now games are a main stay more and more tvs come game ready with burn protection technology for example some of the older plasmas have a problem with images being burnt not from just games but movies2

Amazing collection. lol we lost most of our DVDs weeks after getting them. we have (had) countless family guy and south park season collections that got lost or destroyed over time

the reason you werent supposed to play old video games on the old large tvs was because they were rear projections and the image would fuck it up when it was paused for a long time
@mrpiffles93 what dvd collection? I only use digital media now :) I HAD like 2000 dvds in 1995 when i got my first dvd player - a toshiba. Now, i couldnt find one.

Its no big deal in my country, a movie costs 1 euro, go out, beg for about 2 hours and go get you're daily amount of movies :P
