I'm a big Cassper fan and I'll go as far as saying that I've always preferred his music over AKA's music. Make no mistake though, I like AKA's music too, I pay a lot of it. However, even I feel like Cassper is doing a disservice to Hip Hop with these chats about staying away from Hip Hop and downplaying it just because he's doing well with Amapiano. I actually prefer Hip Hop Cassper over piano Cassper. No one who loves Hip Hop would spend so much time talking about how the genre is struggling. We love piano too but damn, if you're enjoying it so much why not focus your energies on that instead of constantly talking down on another genre? It's mostly people who don't even love hip hop that get on Twitter and start talking shit about it.
Yeah but the Hip Hop fraternity has shaded and humiliated Cassper for as long as he has been in the industry. It's only human for him to be tired of it.
