I've seen this figure hanging around my local Target for a few weeks now, but since I'd never heard of him, I didn't bother picking him up. However, now knowing that he's been around since the Golden Age, I may have to grab him while he's still in stores.
"It Was Me, Jay!" - Nit: He appeared in 1949, in the very last issue of Jay's solo book (#104, when Barry's book started it was listed as #105). It was his one and only appearance until 1999, when he was retconned to have vanished into the Speed Force and became Jay's Reverse because he felt left out.
I got him for $11, switched his head with the other Jay Garrick, then had them playing rock, paper scissors; paper and rock of course, and I'm pretty satisfied

Every flash related video I'm constantly looking at the hands😂 to see if one would be a good match with kid flash BAF wave, rebirth seems like it would be the right size, love we are diving more into the JSA side Dr Mid-night would be cool
I had the pleasure of buying the Rival action figure. I just haven't opened the package yet. But I get him out of the package, I'm pretty sure that I will enjoy posing him.
4 on pegs at target I have jay... one of last years best I think Jay's colors are perfect Im not going sugar coat it this is lazy and i dont care for it. Sorry to be negative.
Hey not every figure is going to be for everyone, I'm not offended. The way I see it, my job as a reviewer is to help you decide which figures are right for you. Sometimes that means what figures you can pass on by
They definitely need to utilize those eyes in different characters they make I don’t care if they’re just reuse but they need to put those eyes on a another speedster like the reverse flash at least if we ever get a silver age non-rebirth version or one that’s different than the one that uses the same body as new Wally, not to happy with that p.s this body is a good sculpt, like the jay gerrick counterpart
Speaking of Flash figures, have you managed to pick up the Dawn of DC Wally West Flash? If you ever get around to it, it'd be cool to see him next to Spawn 2-Pack Batman and Mullet Superman. Also I'd honestly be kinda interested to see that figure in a VS with the COIE Kid Flash lol
I was actually able to get the whole Crisis wave and the Anti-Monitor on sale earlier this year, so hopefully they'll go on sale again soon since it's really not a bad wave of figures, it was just asking for way too much money...
I just wondered if you're planning on reviewing the dc multiverse mcfarlane toys new 52 Cyborg Superman and Superman our worlds at war figure soon but also I hoped you can considered reviewing the eradicator to complete the team despite his design not being the usual classic Jason are you?
I preordered Cyborg Superman, but by Our Worlds at War do you mean the Gladiator Superman? If so, I reviewed him a long time ago in a Versus with Planet Hulk.
@@5POAFigureReviews Yeah about what I said no it is not another gladiator superman figure no it is the Ed mcguinnis superman our worlds at war design from the comci in which he has the black symbol I'd hoped you do a review on soon but also do not forget eradicator too to complete the reign of supermen team
I like both these saucer head's a lot, but dang you gotta be real careful with the wings. Ankle wings and helmet wings are highly wonk-prone, but the lightning eyes and deranged grin combo is undeniably provocative, so it's not the biggest deal. You do not want to put Captain Atom, Rival, and Alan Scott together, trust me, it gets real gross, real quick 💯🔥🚒

I picked up this figure to swap out the Jay Garrick head and have a figure that better matches the color scheme of the comics.

Proportions aren't McFarlane's best strength, but in this case I think it's the fingerless gloves and the running hands making the arms look longer.
