I wonder if IT @7:10 left enough tracks behind to equal the amount of wood you have left to burn for the day, down 6 yesterday =44 down another 6 in a bunch o minutes from now and you be at 38!!! I think with Everyone helping where they can then at least the burning will be done today, but I suspect 44 will have been oiled by the end of the leaving 6 left for tomorrow. 😊BUT... I do believe in y’alls skill, want and determination to get that process complete, in that all 50, 2x8s will be completely done by end of your work day and if not today for sure by tomorrow but I’m going with today... LOL!!! 😂 Sorry, my point is it will get done so THAT is all that matters!!! You all do such a great job of working together keeping just the right amount of playfulness and such a positive and almost always happy attitude we love watching all y’all do!!! ❤❤❤ BIG ole Mama Bears at you each with a bunch of family love to go with!!!
I've put a number of these together over the years and it wasn't until the last one. It was very much like yours four trusses and equal length stringers. Well that's when my grandson asked, "Why are we cutting all of the lumber to one length when all we have to do is the center ones, and let the excess hang over the end then cut them all at the same time." It did actually work out really well. You did a really good job with the coordination with the kids. Great to have them helping in team work.

to add to fire safety, have a small fire extinguisher and keep it near whenever your are using fire. They're super cheap. For y'all that aren't homesteading yet, if you tell your insurance agent you have a fire extinguisher in the apartment or house you get a discount on the insurance--same with car insurance. Hopefully you never never use it but if you need it once it will be AMAzing that you have it.
This is fantastic loving watching this process. You as a family work so hard. The reward is going to be fabulous. Love you all and it was great seeing the Dino.
I would have done this, then I would have done this that way because my Neighbors dog Groomers uncles cousin said he's been building structers all day and has many minutes of experience lol Great job! I built my entire solar array using the Shoshugiban technique and I think it turned out nice and should last. Thanks for sharing and as always keep building 👍
