To be honest, I dont mind to pay extra if the restaurant have muslim friendly options.
whereas for me, ill just find a place that doesnt inflate prices for religious purposes
I think you will be paying more because it cost more. Most fast food, halal, pho, KFC are 25% more expensive than whatever you see on most Cantonese menu.
@@thelastdefenderofcamelot5623 For tourist travel to non-muslim country like Japan/HK/China we usually will try to avoid middle east restaurant n would prefer local restaurant with Halal options. Personally, I think it is fair for the restaurant to charge extra for halal menu. HK has a long way to go towards Halal or being a Muslim friendly in comparison to Japan or Thailand not only food, mosques, muslim shower, prayer areas in malls, all are lacking and HK will never move in that direction as landlords, malls will need to invest and give RETAIL space for all these areas!! If they make halal food, they will profit from it as along with Muslim, other religiouspeople can eat it as well. It's just while slaughtering animals, muslims follow certain rules, that's all. As for alcohol and pork, it won't matter actually. Like People who follows hindu religion can't eat cow, thus it's better to replace pork and cow both. Even a small amount of alcohol is bad for health. And food without alcohol just taste the same or better. Double profit one can say.

Demanding halal food is simply discrimination. Big difference between refusing to eat beef because it's not halal, and not eating pork.
Halal food also discriminates against Sikhs
Or lets see it from another point of view like providing halal food also a choice by restaurant that like to boost their profit
Muslim did not demanding halal food.
They decided to consider it from the visitor data.
So basically they want to do it for profit.

There are more Muslim tourists to be made money off of. That's more economically viable and profitable. Muslims can also eat kosher food btw

the central point is to keep YOUR religious ideals and restrictions TO YOURSELF and abide by them YOURSELF and not force them on others with torture abuse and punishment. muslims seem to have a very 'difficult time' understanding this concept
