      The funny thing is Koei made this game with the mindset of it being the final game in the series so you're not entirely wrong on it possibly ending there.

    Sima Yi has served 3 generations of the Cao family but I think he did the right think taking matters to his own hands after Cao Rui the rest of the Wei emperors were incapable of conquering the realm. The only one who resisted a lot was Cao Mao but was slain by Sima Zhao

    Sima Yi. Sima Shi and Sima Zhao continued Cao Cao and Cao Pi's task of uniting the land. The later Wei era was a lot more difficult because apart from Wu and Shu the rivalry between the Cao nobility and the Sima clan made things a lot more difficult

    . Sima Shi deposed Emperor Cao Fang , and immediately replaced him with Cao Mao
    . Guanqiu Jian & Wen Qin , and other officers loyal to Cao Wei , began to raise troops in Shouchun. They started rebellion against Sima Shi.

    Hearing this theme is triumphant but at what cost?....it always makes me wonder what if just maybe Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang held out longer.....how would China be different

    • @Sigmar_Unberogen_Heldenhammer
      @Sigmar_Unberogen_Heldenhammer Год назад +2

      Wouldn't have been united in the time it was. Liu Bei was little more than a glorified bandit king. Zhuge liang was a competant administrator but wasn't really a good strategician. There's a reason he launched 5 capaigns to take the north and failed to make any significant gains each time. Also, Liu Bei died LONG before zhuge liang's d e f e a t at Wu Zhang plains.
      It took the strength and ingenuity of the Sima clan to unite China and end the constant civil wars.

    I'm a big three Kingdoms era fan. Trying to make my own version in ROTK13. This helps me with that. What is your advice for a Cao Cao figure who rules basically Shu instead? In abilities and personality. And the overall story. Liu Bei is in Xu instead.

      @@elrond501st So kinda like a tragic mix of the two? Who's a warrior king kinda? But is inevitably going to fail?
      I have plans for Wu's version to be a Great General who's excellent at domestic affairs but not too smart, and centralizes government sorta like Rome. I've long wanted a create your own ROTK but the only one that exists is only in Japanese dangit.

I haven't played most of the ROTK games, but VII and XIII are great and I'm pretty sure VII lets you freely set up custom units. It's been awhile since I played it though. There's always the Dynasty/Samurai Warriors Empires games too. Not quite as detailed as ROTK or Nobunaga's Ambition, but it gets the job done.

      @@elrond501st I am looking forward to DW9 Empires. I thought the voice acting wasn't THAT bad. Rotk8/7 are my favorites but they are too limiting in custom characters.
      I kinda want to see if they'll do a reboot of Dynasty Warriors where it follows two stories like SW5. DW6 also had meh combat but the writing and voice acting was top notch. The only issue with it's voice acting was the voices seemed a bit rushed but it had great talent.

      @@deiansalazar140 I'm optimistic about 9E. Having seen the new character creation, I know that I'll like it for that if nothing else. If they were to do DW10 like they did SW5 it would be interesting to see what part of the story the would focus on. They'd have to cut the roster by a lot, which would be fine with me as long as they don't have clones again. The clones in SW5 are not bad, but it's a little disappointing to see when there are so few characters

    Hey I have a request. I'm doing a project and I would really appreciate it if you could make a very short compilation of the Dynasty Warriors 7 cutscenes only a couple for each of the rulers of the Three Kingdoms that best shows their political ideology and personality. I don't have the editor to do this. I will never ask for another favor again. It's related to my activist work. The nuanced debate of each of the four is really relevant politics of my country. It's America obviously. I would thank you as you have nothing to gain from this.

    • @elrond501st
      @elrond501st  3 года назад +1

      Interesting. I'll look into it, but there are already a handful of videos that have all of the cutscenes uploaded. It sounds like you want a more focused collection, though, which is certainly possible. The question then becomes about which characters you want. For instance, would you want all three Simas for Jin, or just Zhao? What about the Sun family - is Quan the only "real" ruler or would Jian and Ce qualify? And what of the other warlords - does it matter what (for example) Yuan Shao thinks or is he too irrelevant?

    • @deiansalazar140
      @deiansalazar140 3 года назад

      @@elrond501st Probably just Sima Zhao. And Sun Quan. Liu Bei and Cao Cao too obviously. It can't be too long. Sending it to my political allies and friends so they understand what influenced me politically. I kinda think it's a good introduction to politics on terms of philosophy, obvious not policy or realism. But what I love about DW is that it paints each side how they see themselves and others. It's a fantastic way to learn about perspective. And that's what I love about the characters. It shows the different sides in war and politics and their views both how they see themselves, and how others see them. It helps you talk to people and have respectful and productive interactions.
      Man no wonder I'm a Progressive. Sorry btw if our irl politics are different.
