How to Make Quicksand in Minecraft

In this video I will be showing you how to make a working Quicksand trap in Minecraft. There are no mods or Addons in this video, and It is very simple.

How do you make the sand blocks from breaking in the trap, cause I done exactly what you did and they keep breaking in contact with the water

You could also put signs underneath the cobwebs so that the cobwebs don't glitch through the sand and you can put a secret base or just a lava pit underneath.

I play on the 360, and to do it without the command blocks I like to place a sand block a couple of blocks above a fence post (so it drops onto the fence post). The sand should be floating 1/2 a block above the fence. Place lava in that gap, and anyone who walks on the sand falls through and gets instantly burnt.

I tried on PC and the when I placed the sand on all the cobble and it was sinking. But then the sand started to break. I’m going to try this on My phone and see if it works? I will say if it works. (It didn’t work)

you can change it so its linked up to a clock and change the command from /kill to /effect. from there you give them instant damage. and a fix to the cobwebs would be to add another command block to give the blocks slow falling. this makes the glitch alot less common and look more flush with the ground

There's an easier way to do this. Do the soulsand thing and place water, Than, put the sand and it'll bounce. Once you do that, when the sand goes down enough to see the block, place a cobweb.

If you want it to slowly kill you then change the command block to:
Java: /effect give @p harming 2 5
Bedrock: /effect @p harming 2 5
