I love how funny their dynamic is at times, until Shibuya. At that moment, it REALLY gets to sink in that there is no redemption waiting at the end of the series. Sukuna isn't evil because of any anger or grudge, he is just a heartless monster who can and will kill anything and everything with no hesitation because of the simple fact that he can.
Thats probably the best character analysis out there.
I dont think he kills people just to piss off Itadori, he literally told Jogo he'd plans of his own. He meant what he did in Shibuya. And ofcourse that amused smile of his when Mahito did domain expansion.

I have a feeling that there is a certain sorcerer in the past that really killed sukuna like in the myth. Where he was beaten by the dude name mikoto. Whoever it is, i hope that dude reincarnation is itadori.
Yuji is a reincarnated sorcerer, more likely than not due to sukuna remembering him after the big plot twist, so chances are they have met before and yuji is just completely oblivious to being one. After all, kenjaku showed up through a certain someone that you can take prestablished people and make them reincarnations, it's possible when he gave birth to yuji he did so to infant yuji and he lost all the memories due to being an infant.

It’s so funny to see two people possessing the same body and NOT becoming friends. A part of me used to hope they would but that’s mostly because that’s what I’m used to seeing (Naruto/Kuruma, Greedling, Eddie/Venom).
