Spike's character has so much depth to it and he finally faces everything in that final episode. Truly a masterpiece.
I’d say it’s the best ending I’ve seen from an anime, maybe from any show. The ending alone makes it a top 5 anime for me, everything else just makes it even better.

@@snamrezy5196 got to love heroes going to the villains lair,taking out groups of henchmen and women, then goes the final battle, great format never gets out, bepop did it with the character from the 1 episode, won then died at last scene, as sad as that was that was phenomenon story.
Gurren Laggan was ahead of its time, truly one of the best anime endings that doesn't leave you hanging
Just Some Guy without a Mustache I tried watching it, and I couldn’t stand it. Too cringe. But if it’s really that good then I might try it again.

Spike really took on a entire syndicate to get to Vicious; That's how you end a story and solidify someone as arguably one of greatest protagonists in anime!!

The ending to Assassination Classroom had me in tears. Two seasons were not enough.

This anime was to wholesome for a anime about kids learning how to assasinate a tentacle monster that will implode the earth in a year, and the finally was just too perfect.

That Cowboy Bebop ending still gives me chills to this day. Still a perfect ending.
"You're gonna carry that weight" still tears me up years later. Cowboy Bebop is one of the only shows that managed to break me multiple times. But the ending was just... It had me crying louder than I probably ever had before. Spike falling, and "Blue" playing as the credits roll. Legendary.

The best and shocking ending was from the 1997 Berserk Anime.

The Eclipse is more like a starting point and thats why the impact of Berserk is more brutal, Casca got raped, Guts got mentally wrecked, and they have a lot ot face from that on

As much as I love Dragon Ball, I still wish if it had ended with Cell Saga. It was perfect.
@@sudippaul2876 when I say they ended it there in the original Dragon Ball Z: Budokai game, I HATED the thought of it because I watched and enjoyed the Buu Saga and Vegito and Adult Gohan. But when I REALLY think of it, the show would've had a FANTASTIC ending if it stopped right there after Gohan defeated Cell and Trunks destroyed the Androids in his timeline

Gurren Lagann's final battle still gives me chills, still almost brings me to tears of joy, and gets me more pumped up than all the coffee in the world.

After Kamina died I was just lying in my bed for 30 mins depressed, debating whether I should kept watching it or not but for some reason I did and I don’t regret it
The part between Spike and Faye was one of the best parts in Anime history. The emotional change from Faye was great acting from both the Japanese and English VAs.
Yeah, wendee lee really made Faye incredibly and genuinely vulnerable.

Great call on #1! Also props for going WAY back to the finale of the original Mobile Suit Gundam. It also sets the stage for one of my favorite 'reunion' moments in anime, when Amuro meets up with 'Lt. Quatro' (aka Char) in dramatic fashion in Zeta Gundam.

I would have been seriously upset if Code Geass hadn't been on here. It has my absolute favourite ending to date. It's an ending that just tugs at those bitter-sweet strings. One that one just can't dislike. The world at peace at the end is a world I wish ours was. We could really use a Lelouch who manages to end all that fighting and hatred. ALL HAIL LELOUCH!

How in God’s name did Code Geass not take the top spot? That anime not only has the greatest ending within the medium of anime, but the greatest ending in the entire medium of fictional works. Also, where is Neon Genesis Evangelion? Another anime with a top-contending ending.
I am a huge fan of Code Geass but I believe it can't compete with Cowboy Bebop.
Also, I will watch Neon Genesis Evangelion, it looks interesting to me.

The goal of Edward Finally redeeming his mistake of losing his brothers body,makes it the best ending.
With winry and Edward marrying,Roy finally becoming Fuhrer and making things better for ishival from where everything started,van hoenheim finally dying,after completing it's mission, everything about the *ending*,can make you cry tears out of happiness,with Edwards Final quote

I wholeheartedly agree with the final two spots. Gurren Lagann is by far my favorite anime of all time and seeing that final fight, hearing Simon say “My drill is the drill that will create the heavens” and hearing the theme song play in the background gets me hyped up every time.
Unfortunately, the ending for FMA wasn't as perfect as everyone thinks it to be. That mustache that Roy got was just awful.

Gurren and Brotherhood are the animes that made me cry so hard then and there I knew I was born to watch anime...
I think Escaflowne should get a shout out, the ending song is one of the best in Anime and it's just impressively romantic and sweet without being forced or insincere. I don't even like romance but I never forgot that ending.

And Rurouni Kenshin's true final episode was horrible. It's so horrible that you can't even find it on legal streaming sites like crunchyroll, you can only find it illegally or if you somehow have a recording of it being broadcast on TV.

I think what makes the ending if Real Folk Blurs part 2 even more badass is that the creator said that he's never confirmed the ending and has left Spike's faith up to the audience.
So in a way only he can manage, Spike is both living and dead in limbo

Eh, it was nothing special the bad guy lost big deal. The things and characters and the mistakes that led up to it were really stupid
@Waifu Kun light's death provided nothing other than oh the hero defeated the villain. While lelouch's death completed his character arc well. Throughout the show, almost every time he killed some one innocent it took a toll and he had to face the comsequences of his actions which hurt him more and more as he went on, he saw himself as the villain who had to as atone for his sins and at the end he selflessly sacrificed himself and made the world a better place which was a bittersweet but beautiful resolution to his arc
You talk about deus ex machinas when near himself was a livimg deus ex mahina. Goes into avatar state and finds out mikami is x kira. An SPK agent casually walks into a bank, opens some one else's deposit box and writes down 200,000 names in 12 hrs. And all of a sudden mikami sells kira out lol.
And CG had one dimensional villains, DN has one dimensional heroes. Near had no personality, was just a mcguffin and mello's only character trait was eating chocolate and task force were just useless people who provided nothing to the plot. And misa amane is the most annoying anime girl ever
Code geass ending is the most liked ending while DN's entire 2nd half is hated. So keep crying your salty tears 😂😂 its hilarious to watch

FMA Brotherhood has a ending that has conclusions for every character which is rare for Anime, so i am glad it is on the list, but it should be nr 1 for me.
