Writer-director Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird) has crafted a Little Women that draws on both the classic novel and the writings of Louisa May Alcott, and unfolds as the author’s alter ego, Jo March, reflects back and forth on her fictional life. In Gerwig’s take, the beloved story of the March sisters - four young women each determined to live life on her own terms -- is both timeless and timely. Portraying Jo, Meg, Amy, and Beth March, the film stars Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, with Timothée Chalamet as their neighbor Laurie, Laura Dern as Marmee, and Meryl Streep as Aunt March.

I can really feel Jo's anguish in this scene, her emotions are really palpable. Plus, Saoirse pointed out that Timothee broke her heart in "Ladybird", only for her to do the same to him here!

Insane. Very rarely it happens like that, most people go through life without ever meeting such a person, this is real statistics. 41% marriages end in divorce, filter in unhappiness and it's a lot more. You can keep looking, like an addicted gambler who is mistaken about the mathematical foundation of the game.
Or you settle and cut your losses by taking the best option for you. Usually among one of your "friends". Friendship, real friendship is one of the strongest kind of love, don't underestimate it.
@@markarmage3776 And that's how you ruin your mental health, your partner's mental health and bring miserable kids into existence. The "friends" forced to be married are the ones who split. It is the worst advice I have ever seen. Don't lie to a friend and commit yourself with someone you don't like. It is narcissistic to lie to people just to get their love. Learn to be alone and then maybe you will be good enough to find someone you really love reciprocate. And if you don't, that's okay too but do not lie and ruin lives and families...

@@markarmage3776 I think if two friends decide to get married, their marriage will be founded on a good foundation. On the other hand, if one of the friends is in love with the other and the other is not, it will not work. Both will suffer because they will not want the same things.
