I've seen lot of content creators shitting on the game just because it is not what they wished (career mode, more licenses, more offline modes, etc) but not someone actually checking on the actual stuff the game has to offer. Most of people are having fun with it, it is indeed fair to play and does great job with forcing you to grind for long time til you can actually afford ONE great player for your squad, it is clearly skill based only, which neither EA FC or Efootball are rn, which has the potential on eSports for this game higher than those two and the actual game does come out this week! So soon we will see how the season pass and weekend league works. I think in a few years, this game can cook EA and Konami if they keep going on the right direction.

The last time I remember having this much fun with a football game was FIFA 13 and UFL is so much fun even when losing I don’t get angry because people actually score and win from outplaying you. Sure the glitches are annoying which happens frequently but I love it! I have played a few games of FC since UFL came out but now I’m only playing UFL.
I’m not on next gen yet but plan on playing it a lot when I upgrade how does it compare to efootball I quit fifa after fifa 23 and years of endless frustration with EA

Pes and fifa are more fleshed out but this game can overtake them if they add more content. Just play the f2p when its fully out and keep your eyes out for updates!

Press R2 when you are on squad menu anx you can see the series in the skins and what level you get, its like the chemistry in Fifa, you need 3 of the same skin for 1 and then 2 more for level 2. Once you get to know it, it makes alot of sense
The left stick dribbling isn't "good" in this game like I see people praising. It's simply that defenders have inertia and when they go in for a tackle or step forward and get rinsed by a change of speed or direction, they don't have 100 pace to auto-recover and float back into position faster than the attacker like what happens in EA FC. If EA FC just made defenders grounded and they had to commit when tackling/stepping up, people would praise EA's dribbling as well. Hopefully EA see this praise and make the OBVIOUS changes they need.

I honestly think this game will definitely age well cos first of all even the best fifas we loved werent all perfect (fifa 14 headers, fifa 12 finesse/high through ball) plus also the progression will add WAY more variety into the game and let u still play with cheap players instead of NEEDING meta players (ibarbos,mcgeady etc kinda vibe) idk 🤷♂️

@nickrtfm not all traits/ skills can be fully upgraded to 4 some require a boost from skin sets. kinda of bummed about that but it so satisfying to see your players growth and yes the game needs a bit of work but i can deal with what we got atm.

I realized this long ago during the beta. Its taking some people way to long to realize that this game beats both ea fc and efootball in onlime 1v1 football because ot manual defending and less ai scripting and computet ai help to bad players. . Its more user skill who wins which is how all football games going forward should be made. It also matters less in this game if your playing a way better squad with a lesser team . If your way bettet at the game than your opponent you will win despite how shit your squad is. Both konami and ea need to copy this game. In ufl if you don't play manual d or good at it. You get destroyed. This is how football games playing against other humans should be. . This the first game that goes back to old school pes days of addicting ganeplay simply because of that reaon alone that both ea and koanmi fail to capture anymore in football games.
