This Storyline resonates deeply with me,😢 after High school, i couldn't let go of this one boy in class, i didn't realize how ruined my life had become cos i was driving all love interets away, hoping that one day he'd call and we'd be together again, weeks turned to months, to years and several years, past 7! Wow! What a movie!
Not the usual ending. Infact, not the usual type of storyline.
Right from beginning to ending,, Soo Soo screen glued movie.
Now to the movie content; I think is only natural for lucious to have that feelings;
1. Because he wasn't corrected when he said, when he grows up and become a man, he will marry his mother's friend.
2. Because the real mother denied him of motherly love or any form of love, he got to find out what love meant from his mother's best friend whom he doesn't share any form of blood with so even if he googled for what to do with his feelings for that woman, at his age and how ignorant he might be at that age, he still wouldn't have be guarded.
He thinks he can get her to marry only when he's a man that's why he patiently waited too.
3. Because when he grew too, the mother's best friend indulged him even when she suspected the signs,,, they were Soo glaring for her to see. So why didn't she correct him?
She could have playfully told him when she saw the signs that, "A child can never marry a mother or father or godmother or godfather", that way, his mind would have been reset. Who knows!
Well! All the same, the deed has already been done.
I love it very much how the same godmother stood by him and didn't cut him off. She really acted matured by even suggesting therapy and even made it known that, she understands his pain.
Truly truly, her love for him was soo pure like a mother and child's own.
Upon how the real mother neglected the child and left him in her care,, some bad adults would have taken advantage of him by doing that devilish act with him but she didn't,,,
And that's recommendable by her.
He was only a child and was Soo good that the godmother acted like the adult she's and corrected him even thou he was far gone deep in his feelings for her.
As for the real mom,, she's a very bad example as a mom... Soo Soo bad.
About the young lady that the mother was imposing on lucious, she should have chosen self respect and dignity and left but no! She kept on pushing as much as the young man was rejecting her.
It's a movie thou so quite understandable.
Anyways, she should be recommended by her good friendship offered till the end where finally the young man got over his obsession with the godmother and chose her.
She did well! Not all friends would do that.

Many times parents causes great harm to their children with the word that they know what's best for them, in life allow a child to make a choice but be their to guide them to the right one not control them.
She almost destroyed her son's life with her constant control and he decided to find love with the one who showed him love, what a life.

@@aslinemapenzi7962 The story line is relatable and it's a very good movie, it's entertaining and educative. If anyone have problem with this movie or any movie Clinton has featured in so far, the person simply have problem or doesn't have eyes for good movie. I love this movie 💯 percent and it's a wake up call for parents to be in their children's life, they shouldn't be so occupied and neglect their children welfare.
Same happened to me way back 2016. I used to play with male friend’s younger brother, I used to call him baby boy, he started like me so we used to talk whenever I talk to his brother on phone. He started calling me with his granny’s phone at night saying his missing me. I took it likely but later realized the little boy was actually falling in love with me. Few years came and we got in touched again, he some we met and this guy was a very good looking young boy. We were all alone in the house and we needed up kissing. He became so intimate and obsessed with me. I intentionally changed my phone number to let him go and I’m glad I did that😊
