- This was the last video we shot with Mikey from @OverthrowDiscGolf in 2022. Releasing this type of content on the channel shows a side of the sport you don't get to see, but it's a lot of work so let me know if you think I should keep it going in 2023.
Thank you to my caddy Joonas for coming out to the states to support me. We didn't have the finishes we wanted in 2022 but we've got plenty of wins ahead of us. Thank you for everything you do. This is what disc golf is all about! You can make friends with anyone, from anywhere, at anytime! These videos are soooo top tier, no BS, not awkward and original, I just love the vibe!

Thanks for the content Paul. I like seeing how disc golfers get to live today. Back in the late 1980's and 90's when I went to tournaments no one on tour made a living from Disc Golf (not even Kenny). We had to stay at each other's houses, or sleep in the car. Then drive back Sunday night to make it to work the next day. I wish you continued success. What a last round by Gannon!!!!
I think it's fantastic for the sport that you're going to visit Europe a bit more in 2023.
I've got a two hour drive to Borås and It's not every year you can go and watch the 🐐 at Swedish Open.

I enjoy the behind the scenes videos. I think they are also good for your brand. Disc Golf has distinguished itself among other sports by how accessible the pros are to their fans. That personal connection builds interest and allegiance. As the sport grows, creating additional barriers will be necessary, but videos like this will allow fans to still feel that connection even if they do not have the same level of personal contact. So as a fan, I like it, and I think it's also a wise marketing strategy.

Pual McBeth, I thoroughly enjoy seeing the DISC GOLF personalities through RUclips. I’m not saying you need to become a RUclipsr, but, a 9 hole video twice a month with another pro would be amazing.

Love the BTS content. If it's a lot of work, maybe cover the milestone tournaments like the first tourney, DGLO, Worlds, USDGC, stuff like that?
12:41 The bars are Pro Meal on-the-go Banana Nut Bread. Never tried them, but want to now. Eat a lot of these types of things while on the go and most are lacking.

Man I could only dream of playing in today's money.
Played 20 years, 17 part touring.
We were all broke.
We cut corners, ate old food, traveled together in junky vans.
Are ctps were key chains, and pot holders.
We wore bluejeans shorts, and golf shirts someone was throwing out, and us winning 800, was today's 10,000, I think best ever champion, only got 2,400 a month in sponsors, which was huge, because we were all broke, in my time, for atleast 5 years, champ was only guy on tour, that didn't need a job to survive, then came Barry, Ron Russell discraft 1st big guy, still had to do roofs, and could barely get to next gig, to have gas money.
I'm sure both those companies got mega rich in that period.
Not paying hardly nothing out, innova was so tight, they squeaked when talking.
We were set back to me from, old hall of famers, not all, not close, just a few.
They acted like they owned the sport.
And had pull to black ball good people, just asking questions.
Especially from innova, not really discraft guys.
All old innova dudes.
Scared, for years you couldn't buy disc from innova, u had to go through these old gatekeepers.
One part owner now of prodigy, he was worst, and still to this day, hes a control freak, all about money and power.
Even boycotting tournaments, that they didn't ask him first. If they could.
Best thing in sport will happen when there completely out of sport. Those guys at innova been millionaires since early 90s, and gave us key holders, and bottle openers.
I'd like to see a power grab in future.
Like paul, and 6 other big guys, open their own disc manufacturing company.
So paul, each time you start your car.
Just think, I got 225$ for a big win.

Bubba, didn't the champ have a job up to about halfway through the 90's? When I was going to tournaments in the 80's & 90's I heard he had a job. You are right, we were all broke. Although Greenwell always seemed to have money, he had other "ways" to make money I was told.
