    I could be wrong but do fronts show where the jet stream is, or fronts have something to do with the jet?

      Based on what little I know about weather: the jet streams are major currents of wind which have influence on the creation and movement of dozens of fronts. The jet streams are of planet-scale magnitude. Fronts are of regional scale and are much more numerous. So yes, fronts have a lot to do with the jets. But they also show up elsewhere.
