To the ignorant UPLB student, there is more to the budget than you know.. Sa tingin mo na kung magbubudget para sa defense makunan na ang budget para sa education? That is why maraming questionable audits sa budget because of corruption. And for the health sector, everything starts from solving corruption. Without corruption money will be provided accordingly and safely, and with money spent wisely and honestly, development will start. Everything will develop in its way. No Corruption = Development. Wag ka lang magreklamo kung matagal ang development sa inyong sector dahil hindi rin naman ganyan kayaman na ang Pilipinas in terms of dependent and independent resources.

The question of the student asking how can Mayor Duterte balance the budget between Education and the defense was no brainier if he (student) did made a research on it in the first place. The good Mayor said he will prioritize education since he believes education is most needed in this country to alleviate it from poverty. In so many instances, Mayor Duterte said that stopping corruption in the country is the key in his development programs. When you stop corruption, you have more than enough money to sustain the expenditures and budget of the government. Another key to development is peace and order in the country. If peace and order will prevail, when the fighting with the NPA and with our Muslims brother can be stopped in the country through Federalism, then the country does not need so much expenditures in maintaining the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Moreover, if Peace and Order shall prevail, foreign investment will come in naturally. As student of UP, I expect them to be more tolerant and more intelligent than the average student in the country. At this Q & A forum, I am a bit disappointed especially with that student who've shown such arrogant towards a respectable person.

Q: saan nyo kukunin yung budget for the defense of our country? i don't understand the question because mayor duterte never said anything about putting more funds on our defense or sacrificing anything to give more budget to our defense, he even said we are not ready to go to war. if you answer the question as it is the answer will be TAX we get the budget out of our TAXES but that's the problem they have the budget we feel they don't because we haven't seen any changes yet because of corruption. DUTERTE WONT SACRIFICE EDUCATION JUST TO GIVE MORE FUNDS FOR OUR DEFENSE, ITS IMPORTANT THAT FILIPINOS WILL BE PROPERLY EDUCATED SO WE WONT ASK THE SAME SELF CENTERED QUESTION AGAIN. Kapag nagtanong ka kasi dapat marunong karin makinig ng maiigi, ganyan ang tamang pakikipag usap. Ang problema kasi yung studyante naka sentro lang siya sa pagsasabi ng opinion niya kaya hindi niya matanto na kung tutuusin naman ay nasagot na yung tanong niya. Napaka simpli lang yan. Parang budget mo lang yan sa school iho. May budget ka sa pagkain at may budget ka sa pamasahe. Hindi mo pwedeng bawasan yung pamasahe mo dahil hindi ka makakauwi. Hindi mo rin pwedeng bawasan yung budget mo sa pagkain dahil magugutom ka. Dahil "sakto" na yung budget at nakatalaga na kung ano lang yung pwede mong gastusin. Kung anong tinalagang budget sa Defense yun na yun. Hindi sila maaring kumuha sa Education or sa other Department para mag compensate dahil yun na ang binigay na budget para sa kanila at kailangan nilang i-maximize yun. We are entitled to our opinion pero dapat hindi lang tayo mabilis magsalita dapat mabilis din tayong makinig.

1) Si ate nurse sa huli hindi estudyante, o professor. Sinabi niya yun. Ano yang "Mga taga UP pilosopo. whew,,," mo?
2)Ikaw ba? May datos ka ba na magsasabi na marami pa talagang nurses dito sa Pilipinas? Mapapatunayan mo bang mali ang sinasabi niya? Nurse siya eh, hindi kaya nakikita niya mismo na onti na lang nurses sa ospital nila?

With all due respect Mayor Duterte, we are the only Southeast Asian Country without jets until we purchased the FA-50 from South Korea. It has been 20 years since we retired our F5 jets. Hope you will not delay the AFP modernization just because you think we cannot wage a war against China. With or without war, we should still modernize our air force and the armed forces in general because the number one duty of the President is to protect the sovereignty of the state.
A good president does not wage war, but is always prepared when the situation warrants it.

PLS. magkaisa na po tayo at wag na po tayong magturuan kung sino ang magaling at sino ang matalino kasi kung ginamit lng natin ang katalinuhan sa magandang gawi eh di "WOW" ....lahat din tayo giginhawa ..pero kung ganito pa rin ang sestema ng mga corrupt at mga trapo sa Gobyerno, abay dapat na gumising na tayo sa "KATOTOHANAN"."
