I totally get what you're saying. I love this band....their first 2 albums, anyway. Something happened on the 3rd release, and I was extremely disappointed. Everyone says I'm crazy for saying that about their 3rd release....but I know I'm not. It's in the production--the dynamics, the exuberance...the "joy de vivre"--call it what you will, it just isn't there..to my ears, at any rate. The first 2 records absolutely crush it, though. Back in my youth, I listened to bands that raised goose flesh on my arms and sent chills up the back of my neck. When I heard these guys, I got those old feelings again. Just so f'ing great. This is one of "those" tracks...it's killer, absolutely killer.
@@Bix12I know this is a 7y old comment but I felt the same exact way as you about their first 3. Loved the first 2 and then thought the 3rd one wasn't very good. I just wanted to say that their 4th and 5th release are of the same quality as the first 2, in case you haven't heard them. Quite different, but still very good stuff!
Once in a while, you find artists whose music makes you just close your eyes and lose yourself in the colors of sound and the mental story playing in your head.. thank you guys so much for being that for me ^_^

I saw them back in November for a secret show and they were playing a bunch of new songs and this was one of them and when they played it, It ended up being my favorite song of the night and they said that it wasn't gonna be on the final tracklist, and it was gonna be a B-side song. I'm glad they were wrong about that, and it did make the final list! My absolute favorite
My mom says this song reminds me of my brother now I never understood why but now I see why he was always lost in himself and drugs teachers and counselors would try to reach out to him but he would ignore them he never listen he was stubborn individual Rest In Peace
Everyone listen up!! If you never seen them live you are missing out big time! They are sooooooo good and entertaining and Sameer's voice sounds just the same as the recording. I saw them March 22nd in Chicago and I can't wait to see them at Lollapalooza in August.
One of my absolute favorite songs. Trying to figure out how to play it, and I absolutely cannot wrap my head around what is happening with the guitar from about 2:45 to 3:02. I think its Jacob playing it, but beyond that I am clueless.
