There are 3 levels of carvings:
Beginners Level - you will learn how to apply quick and simple design to the different fruit and vegetable.
Intermediate Level - you will progress onto more detailed carving design for larger display
Advanced Level - How to carve Rose flower and more flowers. After you master all these flowers - you can apply to larger Fruit and Vegetable such as Watermelon and Pumpkins.

There are two types of the carving knives I am using.
In this video - this carving knife - you can buy it at any knife shop (they may call "a paring knife") - if you like I can email you a photo of my knives. My email address can be found at the end of my video.

Hi, thanks for your comment :) I use only 2 types of carving knives as shown on my videos. For the beginner's videos and all pumpkin carving I use a carving knife with a wider blade. I use a carving knife with a smaller blade on the Advance level and all watermelon carving. Please let me know if you need more information. Mutita

You can steam carved carrot.

Mutita, Thank you for your wonderfully illustrated and accurately descriptive video. You also appear to be a very modest and deeply humble person, and I sincerely appreciate that as well. Thank you.
In a spirit of constructive crtisicism, may I mention that you should also describe .... the reltive thicknesses, approximately, o fthe caroot slices that you cut, and the thicknesses of the petals that you got, and especially the fact that you need a whole set of different knives of varying blade lenghts and shapes, as you approach the inner petals of the flowers. And, where and how can a person buy all this equipment ? Do tell.
Maybe you should write an entire book, incorporating your personal tips on how one can master this sort of intricate art. Thank you, again.

im 11! i carved some flowers and leafs and put them on a small plate! then i made a apple swan and put it next to the flowers. wraped it up and gave it to my teacher! (my teacher is the best!) and she loved it!
