I cannot see how it is at all possible to check the other mark, write "flag on pole" and send it to the "wrong address" which happened to have a flag on the poles and it all being an error? At least their HOA does shit. My neighbors got like 6-8 cars and two families living in their house. They park their cars in front of our house and sometimes when it’s really bad in the grass, making their yard look like a literal pigsty. I always have to park three to four houses from my own home because of them.

HOA's aren't a thing where I live (outside of the US) but from what I could grasp from several reports I've came across is that HOA's are nothing but money sucking leeches that will try to punish you for the most absurd things.

@Jim McCracken Actually, he does need permission. He is contractually obligated to follow the rules of the HOA the moment he bought that house. This is why I will NEVER buy a house under an HOA.
Something like this happened near me. An elderly man who was a vet of both Korea and Vietnam and was wounded in both wars had a flag and pole in his yard for many years. The city came up with a new ordinance that no flag pole could be erected on residentially zoned property. One would think he'd be grandfathered in. So they nailed a notice onto his front door damaging it. The notice was like the one this man got. He refused citing the first amendment. So they fined him and it was a lot more than $50 a day. He continued refusing to take the pole down and he refused to pay the fine stating it was unconstitutional. The city then sent him a notice informing him that they were beginning proceedings to take away his house which had been in his family for five generations. He owed no taxes or anything else on the house. This ended up in the newspaper and his neighbors rallied around him, myself included. We all bought and erected flag poles and we all got similar notices. Soon people all over the city put up flag poles and flags. The day of the auction for his house came and over 2000 of us showed up with flags in hand and we prevented the auction from taking place. The police refused to arrest anyone holding a flag. The following election which was two months after that, we voted out every elected official in the city. The anti-American no flag ordinance was rescinded and all records of the proceedings against our neighbor were purged. The new mayor proclaimed a new tax free zone ordinance. Any home in the zone was exempt from paying real estate taxes if it had a flag pole where the American flag was regularly flown. There was only one home within that zone. Guess whose home it was?

If you go/live in another country then you shouldn't complain and that countries people wanting to fly there own countries flag in there own countries ( before anyone slags off other countries as in he fort the nazis etc bear in mind that all army's fight for the countries/the people that are in leadership of there countries and nazi was a government party as is for example the tory party etc etc I'm quite proud of my family's ancestry and respect all of whom fort in wars and fight in wars as the army's have to follow orders given to them by the people in charge of there countries wether they agree with it or not, people should be able to fly there countries flags in there own countries with out having some invader(s) complaining about it, it was more than likely someone who invaded from some 3rd world country that complained

After defeating the Axis, the US also granted independence to the Philippines in 1946. That flag stands for freedom, not free stuff, as some would have you believe. Homeowners sign contracts to abide by their rules or face consequences (like fines). If you don't like it, buy somewhere else. @@braceyourselvesfortruth2492 well first up when it comes to Flying the American flag there's actually a federal law on the books that has been there for quite some time that makes it illegal to prohibit someone from flying the American flag regardless of where they are located.... associations have the right to make rules however they do not have the right to go against the laws that affect all 50 states.... there are several occasions were rules are added in after you moved in as well.. my workplace is smack dab in large areas of nothing but gated communities, and a handful of Office Buildings spread out... my one client despite living in the same house for almost 30 years is now being forced to get rid of her fruit tree because of the new rule essentially other people in the community we're not cleaning up their trees so now everyone's being punished for the actions of a few and being told cut it down or you will pay a Daily Fines ... she's currently struggling to get the money together to pay somebody to cut it down the trees been on the property for as long as the properties existed and being recently widowed is not helping in that cause...... there is another community in the area that changed the rules you are not permitted to own a car older than 10 years of age regardless of its condition. Gated Community started off making rules keep your grass cut keep ,your yard looking nice don't paint your house funky colors, now many have been crossing the line every chance they get

Very glad that the homeowner's association made a very wise decision in having a change of heart. During these sick, political correctness times in which our young people, government leaders, and even the president, are succumbing to the United Nations "anti-America" influences. Those of us that care about our nation need to show our patriotism more than ever.
