that's deep, really. not just entertainment, the authors wanted to convey a strong sense of art and meaning of life. obviously not fit to younger generations, who mostly cares about fast&quick enjoyment, with such short attention-window
@@wesleyjackson4511 disagreed. 2011 speedrun's a lot of the biggest moments of the show, which makes them worse killuas darkside is barely a thing the soundtrack doesn't capture the wonder/danger/atmosphere/otherworldlyness to the same extent of the original the japanese voice actors are not as good (in 1999 especially young naruto fit gon's voice better, hisoka was funnier, more flamboyant and creepy , leorio had more soul etc.) etc. the only thing the remake did better was the ant arc (YEP 'cause it actually did it) o and arguably speedrunning the beginning (hunter exam) was better 'cause it's kinda the sleeper part of 1999 that you gotta slog through before it gets really good i'm glad you were able to enjoy it more than me though, it's all subjective/relative and based on personal taste after all and from how much i love the OG i am deffo very biased in my opinion

so so so amazing...amazing peaceful happe and sad at the same time..it’s so deep..it feels like memories of the characters..it brings me memories to tbh it remainds me of a time from my childhood where 1999 version was on TV....I adore this anime so much so much❤️
Imagine this playing when gon sees kite has been killed or after gon looks at killua telling him it’s okay that he sacrificed his life and nen to kill pitou. The hunter x hunter 1999 soundtrack as so much emotion it’s beautiful

tbf it's mostly cause i love the old ones so much and it just was too different and not in a good way it just didn't portray the atmosphere/wonder/otherworldliness anywhere near as good as the OG did, the OG soundtracks fit like a glove in every scene. 2011 didn't have that
