Young people of today have no idea what is good music such as this love this song from the day of my birth 27th July 1978 till today 4th November 2019 still listening to it because when my mom's was pregnant with me this song used to calm me down that's y I love this song so much thank you for sharing this brings back memories..😊♥️♥️♥️
This is Leon Coldero's original parang soca recording of "La Sapa" that he recorded for Christmas 1978 that was produced and arranged by Lord Shorty. This was the same year that Crazy came with his first parang soca hit called "Parang Soca" that coined the term and was sung in English. Leon Coldero's track also came out for Christmas 1978 like Crazy's but was not sung in English but in pseudo Spanish.
Thank you for who ever post this I've been looking for this the real version I know as a child growing up we had the record and Angelo was on the next side thanks
what language are they singing it? somebody get the lyrics of this song. please show it. the first time that i heard this song in barranquilla colombia was in 1983
I have noticed from lots of the music coming out of Trinidad either the names of the songs are spelled incorrectly or the the names of the artistes/groups. Don't these people have editors? STOP butchering the blasted language, whether it be Spanish or English. FAMALIA is NOT a word in Spanish nor any other language as a matter of fact that I know of. These people should NEVER be paid a dime for messing up people's names and music!!!
