Like seeing a hyperactive, anime-obsessed preteen who always wore a ninja headband for the first time in years, only now he's a much more cool-headed adult with a sharp haircut and a well-tailored blazer (that he just so happens to have discreetly stitched the headband's symbol onto one of the lapels).

it's so nice to see the game take a step in it's original vibe and art direction after so long. whole reason i stopped playing is because the all the gashgrab slop mods from 2022-3 just kinda made the game itself feels soulless. but this definitely looks like the game's getting back on track. im exited to see whats in store for the games future.

even then i'm pretty sure the game is still gonna be open-sourced so there's a not even a shadow of a doubt that the modders will port it to the playstation 1 as a homebrew once everything is said and done
