I get you ❤ I love decorating for birthdays. I will get up at 6am before anyone else and spend hours decorating and making a special breakfast. My stepkids don't really appreciate it, but my husband does. And I look forward to doing it for my daughter when she gets old enough to notice.

Everything was really great except being 8 years old and having your nails done professionally I'm not on board with that that is ridiculous she's going to want them all the time now she's way too young to have her nails done and she should have nothing but clear or barely barely hint of pink nails my opinion of course but I am 60 and I have raised the kid and I know tons of kids my sister had ate half girls. Just don't think a girl's nails should be professionally done until she's may be 13-years these people in my neighborhood call travelers that have their little girls in there at 4 and 5 years old getting pretty long fake nails with your almost bigger than the little boobie covers they wear. Everything else is really nice what you did specially the balloons banner and all that I did things like that for my child to and then taking out the special play date but it wouldn't have been at a Mexican restaurant it would have been at a child place like you know an indoor air condition tumbling place that has three or four stories high like they have here in Fort Worth in in Austin or my grandson lives. It just seems like it's more of a playdate for you to go eat. You know there's indoor trampoline places you could have went just you know
This is what she asked for. And we eat and talk and get special 1:1 time. Also she just had gel polish not fake nails. Also I raise my kids to be thankful and never entitled. She loved the experience, it made her feel special and she looks forward to having them done again but knew it was a special treat. People always comment things like this whenever we do something special for our kids, but I know how I’m raising them! They are all amazing kids who take nothing for granted. We came from nothing and have worked our way up and they’ve been along for the ride. They were happy when we had little and when we had much because we are raising them to be Christlike and not materialistic.
Wow! That's so nice! My mom never one time told me she loved me, but told me every single day that she hated me and wished I was dead. I was never allowed to have a birthday party because my birthday is close to Christmas so she said "everyone is busy buying presents for their kids for Christmas, so no one wants to have to spend money on you." Christmas wasn't much better. Your kids are so blessed. What a neat family you are. I can't imagine what that would feel like to be loved like that.
Thats so cool she was given a balance beam. I had one when i was a kid but it was homemade by my dad. He used 4x4x8 and covered it in carpet but i loved it bc i could practice at home
Parents that’s a good idea to have 1 on 1 time with each of your children. They will have a chance to talk freely about anything they want also you can have your talks with them lovingly and scoldingly 😂. Very nice young lady. Happy birthday 🎉

I have 5 kids in my family and my mom spends time with just one person on their birthday! It is not true for me and my sister Tess bc we are twins so you can say we have to do everything together!

There were 12 of us growing up..needless to say eating out was very few and far between so one parents took us out on bdays...my brother and i always had to share our day bc our bdays are a day apart 😒 hated it then, but now in our 30s we still celebrate our bdays together.
I wish I had a family like this. One day I asked for a suprise party and the took it the wrong way, when I asked when’s my party they said a suprise… I never got it.
I totally understand my daughter just turnes 9 may 10 and I always to try to make it special for each one of them even if its just balloons and a cake i try to make it special and that they are super loved on there day.❤🤗🥰
