We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version ruclips.net/user/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.
Hi I’ve just installed a blink camera door bell , does it have a live view option even if no one’s at the door ? If so how do I access this . Many thanks for your time . David
I just ordered one and set it up, but not sure how to get the 2-way audio to work. The instructions don't really explain this. I only need it for package deliveries that require a signature.
@WhatGear Hello and thank you for this video! Question: If residents inside do not have a cell phone or an Alexa module, how are they notified that someone has rang?
I have been very disappointed with my Blink doorbell. The black out zones don't work for me as my door is only 2.2 mtrs from a road, and every car or van sets off the camera. I have blocked out every square of the road, but it makes no difference. Turning the sensitivity down below 3 means I miss someone at the door. There are also times when I noticed the camera recorded me leaving my home, but on returning, it fails to record anything. I noticed on the app, it says the zones are in beta mode, but as this has been out in the States nearly twice as long as the UK, you would have thought they would have sorted it out by now.
got me thinking of changing me door bell cam ...got a eufy...and its shit...yer lucky to get a notification when someone rings it...both on wifi and data...need something better lol...going on holiday tomorrow so would be nice to see whos hanging about outside mine..only reason i got it lol...but does not work...nice video...if i miss any videos this week its holiday time...so no doing comps till i am back lol...or at least announce it for me the times lol

Yes it does but only if you have the blink hub. Did you get the doorbell only version?
@@WhatGear hi I brought the doorbell with the module 2 hub is this what you mean ?
How do you add another phone to the blink camera doorbell for my wife’s phone
Would like to see instructions for hard wired blink doorbell.
Do you need a sync module for the camera work or not
No but you cannot live view or use the two way mic unless someone rings the bell

The mic is muted by default...so everytime your in live view you will have to click on the mic button to unmute

I believe you can wire it to a traditional chime
@@WhatGear Ohhhh, the old system no longer exists :(
Do you need a router to run this or does it run straight from your phone ?
Just bought the doorbell and sync 2 together on sale for 53.99 and 2 indoor cameras for 33.99 on prime sale looking forward to setting it up
What monitor do I need for video sync module 2
Can this be linked directly to open on your TV when someone accesses your door?
Did you ever find out?
can you program it to disable the chime overnight?

Is it free cloud storage for the clips? Or subscription?
