Located south of Alor, the site has many colourful corals. Moreover, it has a rich fauna composed of scorpion fishes, moray eels, and sea snakes. To the South is a sloping reef with interesting topography that stretches well beyond 30 meters. To the North, the wall starts, and the entrance to the cathedral is just around the corner. The cathedral is a giant swim through that dog-legs to the left and up. Once out of the cathedral, you are on the wall. You'll find giant barrel corals of all shapes and sizes, an abundance of reef life and occasionally a little bit of current, which did stop us from travelling too far north.
On Pura Island you will find red and black volcanic sandy beaches, sloping coral walls, and drop-offs on the fringe reef. Pura is famous for its anemone fields and the abundance of small reef fish. In addition, a myriad of small critters take refuge in the island's pristine coral reef. You could spend a lifetime exploring here and still feel like you have missed so much.
