Sixteen months now since my dear wife died but blessed with 64 happy years together. Things have become rather better so I can listen again to Max and his sing-along entertainment which hold such cherished memories for me thanks to you
When I was 5 or 6 years old, my mum took me to The London Palladium to see Max. we were sat in the front row, and Max kept on coming back to face me, singing, and smiling. At that early age, I KNEW I wanted to be just like Max, an entertainer, AND I WAS!!!! For OVER 40 years! Now a radio presenter, STILL playing Max!!!!
I was born in 1947 and I remember the pubs having a goof old sing song London pubs music playing the old jueaner I also remember when Mac bygraves called uncle Mac on the radio all my family has gone now how I miss them 😂😂also I am a widow 4 years ago

OK so Max is not the best singer ever but I'll you what it gives this old fella a great deal of pleasure even if only sitting down and tap my feet to the music. I'm 82 and dreading getting old! Keep it up John.
Max just rolls on with a great selection of all time classics, I've been a fan of Max since I was a child, the day he retired in 2006 was indeed a very sad day, along with the passing of he's dear wife Blossom Max soon followed after batling Dementia for a short period of time, thankfully there's this wonderful recording snd many more, I wish BBC would release it's msny recordings of Max. 😊🇬🇧
When I was a little boy about 30 years ago my Nan and Pop would take me for a drive to the local shops and I remember the 3 of us singing along to my Pop's cassette tape of Max Bygraves singing Knees Up Mother Brown. 🥲
Great songs that we all sang along too what great Times we had.xxxxxx life was absolutely fabulous gee whiz I wished life was so wonderful God bless thanks heaps for ever xxxooo
Hello Johnrb88 old pal.....thought I'd you know I've just bought my first pack of nappies!!After 64 years I'm on my own now and it saves a hell of a lot of washing. Keep well my friend.

The king of cool was the brilliant Val Doonican, but Max Bygraves ran a close second. Max had a large choice of different kinds of songs he would sing in his inimitable way and boy he could charm the sting from a scorpion. I only found out last year about his renowned reputation as a ladies man! Loved the female fans did Max....too bloody much hie wife must have thought! But why let that distract us from the top quality entertainment he gave us for very many years? Val and Max are both gone but as long as there are plenty of songs and videos on here to keep all their fans happy, well their music will live for many many years to come. Thank you guys. RIP. both.
I love some of these old type performers at least you can understand what they are singing. My Australian born English grandmother loved singing to his songs. So did my English mother and her siblings. RIP MAX X
I knew Max as he was a friend of my sister when she danced and sang in Britain. Met up with him when he dropped into Brisbane. Nice bloke and we need more like him today. .
I meet Max at 18 he wos agood frends with my parents his drummer Wally's when to school within dad happy times wonderful 21bithdawith Max at twin towns God bless you till we meet again
Used to see max on tv in the 70's and thought he was old hat...funny thing is the older I get, the more I miss that style of entertaining. No swearing, nothing bad.
Them three backing singers must have been good parents. Look at all the practise they are putting in for rocking the baby. Good legs on the girls. especially the one on the left of the screen. Both cracking ladies.
Are you able to help me find my mum and dad song ,Harbour lights by Max Bygraves, can’t find it anywhere! My mum was a nurse and was a captain in Norwegian navy and it was their song especially when mum passed away in 1985 my dad always cried, but never had max bygraves version of the song. I was 14 now I’m 51 🇦🇺❤️🌹
Max takes me back to the war years. Max and his wife Blosom are a credit to society and will know doubt achieve Enhanced Perpetual Life. The both represent standards of the past that need to return to complement true Democracy, which is the way forward worldwide when we begin motoring our children from abuse , incest and other anti-social problems found in family unit.
Max live in Australia when he retired in Britain. As a British migrant I lived with my family in a Migrant Hostel 6 miles north of Sydney city centre, During the late 1960's we travelled by car to Brisbane . Then returned via Surfers Paradise, which is where I believe Max By graves and Blossom his wife lived. Max was a star on radio and TV. GO hERE for my website: landrrk.com
Brilliant Wally glad you changed your name to Max or we would have perhaps been denied your talent and personality and you would have been still a chippy.
Good entertainer and in his spare time he fathered six children. Three with his wife and 3 via extramarital affairs so God bless his wife for putting up with that crap
London sounded like this? I didn't realise "islamification" had done so much good for London............. or to put it another way, stop whining you pathetic bible licking crybaby BNP fucktard.
Do not blame multiculturalism Juan Eduardo for London's diversity! No ethnic group is stopping us from enjoying the talents from Max Bygraves. Of course we all need to kick out Islamic extremism who threaten our normal freedoms.
Miss you Max no entertainers left anymore who loved their audience. 😊😢

Reminds me of how life was before multiculturalism and the islamification of London.
Juan Eduardo No offence, but weren't you part of the multi-culture, "Juan"? In any case, I agree these song bring back happy memories.
Sounds like Juan integrated well, unlike today's islamist population!
London sounded like this? I didn't realise "islamification" had done so much good for London............. or to put it another way, stop whining you pathetic bible licking crybaby BNP fucktard.

What a horrible thing to say. I lived in London for almost 20 years and absolutely loved the multiculturalism!
