It’s so hard but to take their homes in jennah, I can’t find comfort from that. I’d rather have them come with me and be neighbours. May Allah guide my family and all of ours families. Ameen 😢

1. Goal - Doubt = Reality 2. The Prophet (PBUH) has marks all over his back… 3. Why are you crying, O Umar? 4. Are you not pleased that they have this world, and we have the hereafter? 5. This dunya is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever.” 6. Qur’an, 23:10-11 7. One in Hellfire and one in Paradise 8. The believer will occupy the house built for him in Paradise, and his house in Hell will be demolished. 9. There is a home in Jahannam with your name on it… 10. …and a home in Jannah with your name on it. 11. You inherit the shares of the disbelievers as well… 12. …a reward for when you had to abstain from things in this world. .. 13. Qur’an, 43:27 14. Everything you abstained from… 15. and everything you did… 16. look how “worth it” it is now.
Hearing these descriptions about jannah make it much more motivating to strive for the path of Allah. Jannah really deserves waking up early for fajr, fasting long hours praying and avoiding sin. We live in times where it’s hard to hold on to your religion. But imagine the reward in front of Allah on the day of judgement being a religious Muslim in times where there is so much fitnah like today. May Allah make us one of them.❤

Alhumdililah this series has been amazing, thank you so much Dr Omar Suleiman and the Yaqeen Institute. As a Muslim revert, this is my first Ramadan. However, as I am still living at home with my parents, who aren't supportive of my reversion, I have been unable to participate in Ramadan as much as I would've liked insha'Allah. So, watching the new episode each day of Ramadan has given me that warm comforting Muslim community Ramadan feeling- I am so thankful and will miss it dearly. Assalamu alaykum sister 😊 I’m also a revert (living in UK). When I started my journey, it was shortly before Ramadan and I was living with my atheist parents. It was difficult. I also could not fulfil my fast as much as I would’ve liked. I made dua and kept up with prayers (as much as possible) and asked Allah The Almighty to make it easy for me. I had just been made redundant and struggled to find a job, everything felt like it was against me… or so I thought. Fast forward 1 year, I married a revert and now it’s been 2 years. Our struggles are temporary and everything is a test, insha Allah you keep your faith strong and hold tight for that change. Alhamdulillah for our struggles, they are a blessing on their own. May Allah continue to guide you and keep you strong ❤️

To this day, my mum will avoid speaking about Islam and I have stayed “as normal” as possible when in her company. She may make the odd joke (which can offend me 😅) but I laugh along with her. She came to our nikah wearing hijab and was very respectful, I would say she tolerates it now and has made an effort to understand it more which I’m super happy about alhamdulillah! My step dad has stayed neutral and not said anything 👀 Just remind them you love them and you still the EXACT same person, just a better version of yourself. Dr. Omar is one of my most revered persons blessed with Ilm of deen. Subhanallah Alhamdulillah La ilaha illallahu Allahu Akbar La hawala wa la quwwata illa billah Assalatu Assalamu Alaika Ya Rasullullah.
Sometimes I wonder to myself, “Oh Allah You are the Most Generous, but why are You this generous?” He created us from dirt, had so much mercy upon us while we were nothing and yet still waits and wishes to reward us. If you really think about it, we are the ones who punish ourselves here in this world long before he does. So let’s ask Him repeatedly and sincerely for Jannah and do all the good we can in life trusting that He will be pleased and grant it to us.
“There is no Muslim who says three time, when morning comes and when evening comes, ‘Radeetu Billahi rabban wa bi Islami deenan wa bi Muhammadin sall-Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallama nabiyyan (I am content with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as my Prophet),’ but it will be incumbent upon Allah to make him content on the Day of Resurrection.” [Ahmad 18967 Sahih]

May He protect us from every single punishment. May He allow us to receive our book of deeds in our right hand on the day of resurrection and may that day be the happiest day for us under His shade. May He allow us to cross the bridge of sirat faster than a blink of an eye and enter us into the highest jannah. And for our parents, spouses brothers and sister and for our children and their children. Ameen.

Sometimes I wonder to myself, “Oh Allah You are the Most Generous, but why are You this generous?” He created us from dirt, had so much mercy upon us while we were nothing and yet still waits and wishes to reward us. If you really think about it, we are the ones who punish ourselves here in this world long before he does. So let’s ask Him repeatedly and sincerely for Jannah and do all the good we can in life trusting that He will be pleased and grant it to us.
Jazaka Allah, sheikh may Allah grant us jannah and to visit you there Insha Allah.
“There is no Muslim who says three time, when morning comes and when evening comes, ‘Radeetu Billahi rabban wa bi Islami deenan wa bi Muhammadin sall-Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallama nabiyyan (I am content with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as my Prophet),’ but it will be incumbent upon Allah to make him content on the Day of Resurrection.” [Ahmad 18967 Sahih]
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Rabbana thalamna anfusana wain lam taghfir lana watarhamna lanakoonanna mina alkhasireena
“Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers.” - (Quran 7:23)
اللهم إنك عفوٌ تحبُ العفوَ فاعفُ عنَّا🤲
