Hi - I use a Mac. I reset everything, checked extensions, removed anything from Applications but I'm still getting a redirect on a site ("E-Business Suite HomePage redirect). Do you recommend any particular Mac virus cleaner? I've scanned for everything via Chrome and it's saying there's no issues, but I'm being redirected still.... thanks

Looks like a less than or equal sign. If I open google before it fishes flashing it will crash google. Then when I open back up google and it will keep redirecting to me to yahoo. Every time it's on "chrome search" engine. I have to change it too google. To me it seems like the virus is loading it's version of Google chrome every time I start my computer. Because if I go into install/uninstall programs the latest software is always google chrome. I’ve done a AVG scan and Windows defender scan and it finds nothing. Got any ideas? Thanks
I had something called 'fast browser'. I installed a malware dector and I had around 280 files from this extension, all malicious. I put them all into quarantine and had to download another software to manually get rid of the programme in the programmes bit, it didn't want to uninstall so I had to force it. My laptop kept lagging and crashing so I hope this is why
it worked: I got cp a scam I was stupidly curious of, and I tried using other tutorials, but they were like 30 minutes, and I dont have that much screen time. But when I used that, it worked! It worked even earilier than the tutorial I am so happy! Now random windows wont pop up anymore!

My chromebook doesn't have an advanced option. All the instructions I can find on removing a virus from chromebook tell me to click on options that simply do not exist on this computer. This is getting extremely frustrating.

My Chrome redirected to Bing and I used the Chrome tools and malware removal tools to no avail. I checked my installed program files and found an Edge runtime file that installed with the May Windows updates. I don't use the Edge browser so I uninstalled it. Chrome now searches with Google.
something that keeps appearing without any downloads or anything is the paper extension and its really annoying because it blocks me from accessing my extensions page so i cant report it all i can do is remove another way if you know any way to stop it from getting onto my chrome in the first place please help

No need to worry. If you take the chromebook out of developer mode it will be wiped during the process. Can't link it right now but I have a video on my channel covering this.

Virus protection isn’t 100% saw lots of this during my cybersecurity years. It helps but can’t stop everything especially more advanced malware engineering

that happened to me too but similar because I had this extension called "looker". which is extremely strange.

Ahhh, perfect. Finally worked after I did the reset. Yahoo is so annoying.

In that case I would uninstall Chrome from your computer. Then try to reinstall it.
I can't clean up my computer somehow it doesn't work i've been trying to find it and it keeps on pissing me off
I was cookie logged by a extention I had to download into my file I deleted it all am I safe now
