I met some new friends and wanted to share with you some VF-1 driver impressions. Crosskarts are a whole new animal and a go kart with smooth suspension seems to be a huge hit! The guys building these are loving the entire process from planning their engines and suspensions to seeing them through to completion, then driving something they made in their garage. There is so much footage from Busco that I want to share with you guys while I'm working on the VF-2. There are always exciting things coming from this dude in a garage.

Right?!? Once you pick your paint colors you’ll want to finish it, that’s what got me there…
Im planning on building a few. My kids have 4 wheelers and dirt bikes, and a stupid fast cart with a full cage is next. I was born in 83. I remember the real honda odyssey, and it aint a minivan. Im going to deliver as much of the danger from the 80s and 90s into my kids lives, as the old lady will allow.

I am contemplating buying the plans although I don't have the bender. My Grand Daddy go cart is wrapping up and I am ready to research another project. But the images on your site are not loading on the VF1 page. Your channel has really grown!!!
My concern is that I still have to purchase a-arms used or from an existing ecosystem. I am looking for the a-arms and rear arms to also be home brew rather than off the shelf. Loved what you did with the budget cart.

Predator engine is no joke in one of these! We were totally surprised!
What type of engine did you use? I heard you say a stock predator but what one?
The ones in the video are a 100 hp 4 cylinder motorcycle engine. A KTM 525cc atv engine, a Polaris 500 atv engine and a Harbor freight 459cc max power engine. The frame is designed to use any small engine.
Has anyone put a 2 stroke triple in one of these?
Not yet!!! There have been several two strokes but you could be the first triple 👍

What engine do people usually use on these?
Well whatever you think is a cool engine or one you are familiar with or a predator for simplicity or too much power or 2 stroke power or… the most usable engines in my opinion are atv engines. They work well pretty much anywhere.

At this point you can and should just start manufacturing these on mass. The want for them is definitely out there.
If I could sell them for $10k I would make $4 an hour, Sierra cars sells completed ones but no one can afford $70k. There are so many guys learning how to build these and loving every minute of it. That is the reward for everybody 👍

There’s a link in the description or you can go to kjraycing.com. Use a computer to download the plans as it would be a little weird to build a 100+ mph race car using your phone… Enjoy the build 🦾
