- In this video, I will try to explain the most profound of these four great sentences: "Tat tvam Asi."
"Tat tvam Asi" translates to "You are that." But who or what is that? This statement explains that our true nature, our innermost self, or our Atman, is identical to the ultimate reality, which is Brahmun.
This sentence, Tat tvam Asi if found in the sixth chapter of the Chhaandogya Upanishad, which is part of Sama Veda.
The great sage Uddalaka Aruni uses this sentence repeatedly, through various stories and examples, to explain this concept to his son Svetaketu.

मुझे लगता है आध्यात्म की प्रथम सीडी स्वयं को जानने से शुरू होती है। जब आत्मा को या स्वयं को ये एहसास हो जाता है की उसमे और ब्रह्म मे कोई अंतर नहीं है तो वो अनंतकाल तक उसी ब्रह्म मे लीन हो जाता है। शायद इसी अनुभूति को सच्चिदानंद कहते है।
