Playing flute, eating curd etc. There is also the fact that the hindu belief is that god lives in everything. In abrahamic religions, god is perfect and it's creations imperfect. They can't comprehend god behaving like a human. Avatar is a piece of god born in human form. This avatar of god (krishna) and it's story is meant to symbolise the victory of good over evil. Also, krishna is the coolest god. The whole ''hare krishna movement'' in europe and other places arose because of that avatar. I am annoyingly atheist but krishna is charming as heck.
