- In this video I explain 5 custom properties that are super useful and you should use them in your Webflow projects.
We talk about:
1. Text wrap pretty and balance to use especially in your paragraphs.
2. Calc() for all your edge cases. I show two concrete examples.
3. Clamp to make your text responsive while accessible.
4. Container queries, how they compare to media queries. Why it's super useful to make big text fluid without breaking the design. Also how to set font to cqw.
5. Writing mode Vertical-rl and Vertical-lr, to write vertical text and what.
6. Text ellipsis to cut the text to ... at the end. I show you two ways you can achieve that.
7. We finish off by showing what webflow does not support as of now. For example you can't add !important.
