For the side marker light I just turned the wheel in, removed the “anchors” or whatever those things are called and was able to pull it back more than enough to get to the light. Removing the tire and the bolts on the bottom aren’t necessary unless you need more room. At least on my 2009 Mercedes C300. Thank you for the video!!! Helped me a lot.
Desolation Games I just did it it took me forever until I figured it out. So, where the windshield water tank is, unscrew the bolt that is attached to it and you should be able to pop off the black little L piece. Then after you do it it pop it back in and then bolt it back
I just did this on the difficult left light on my GLK 2009. Used a phone camera to see what was going on, and the socket was attached a bit different. Small clip on the bottom that I had to push down a bit to free the socket so I could pull it out. Old brittle plastic that snapped off, but the socket sort of clicked in place when I put it back. I hope it won`t start to fall out when driving. To quote the Mrs: I hope your £2 DIY doesn`t turn out to be a much more expensive affair.. Now I`ll go for a drive on some bumpy roads and see if her concern is warranted. If so I`m an idiot!
Thanks. People should keep 8n mind 2 things. If the car is a bit older, firstly the small black wiring could disintegrate from heat and age exposing the wiring which could lead to shorting and therefore having to replace the entire wiring harness. Secondly, pulling the bulb may cause the plastic in the housing holding bulb to break out completely with the bulb and plug still attached, again due to age and heat exposure. This may mean you have to buy all new headlights. How do I know? Both these scenarios happened to me on my 2009 w204.
I tried to take the parking light bulb out from the housing (the same way you did at 2:57) and I don't know what did I do to the cable, but now it doesnt work and I got the parking light warning on the screen. Help!!
Is there a way I can clear out parking light need service ever since I put some led bulb in it keep coming on now I was told that led is low wattage and u have to reprogram the car to except the low wattage bulb is that true and if it is how u do it o and it also show on led revers light to that also need reprogram
When I change my parking bulb light it stays on no matter what, I have a c240 2005, its in the same place as daytime light, I don’t know how to fix that, just passenger side it stays on, but the driver side bulb works fine.

Tthank you for your detailed demonstration and explanation!!
Any idea on how to replace the same park light bulp on the other side since there is a small windscreen water tank. Thk

Also unscrew the high beam light and move it to side to make room for a tool to get the parking light
The other side is difficult to get to.

Very helpful. Also, any chance you've done a video on replacing the break light bulb within the trunk lid of a Mercedes B200?

Get in the hole, and push it in. That sounds funny.🤣 Great video
I can't believe he took the wheel off to change the side marker bulb 😂
Why are doing the easy side on the rh side all the time . Why don’t you do the difficult left side front bulb replaced
the reason they used the busted headlight is because it is fucking impossible to do the driver side one next to the high beam.

Use pliers to pull out bulb and then fix the wires
OMG thank you for showing where the "little bulb" is I couldn't find it due to it's location - thanks! :)
For the high beams can you use a H7 ultimate white light ? I replaced my low beams with these by Phillips diamond vision

How do you get the bulb out? I've pulled, tried to squeeze and pull...doesn't budge? Pliers?
Were you able to remove it? I can’t take it out on my car
@@kurartem I ended up using pliers to turn it a little and it came out. But you have to be careful not to break the plastic.
@@kurartem can’t for me, too light
I used pliers
@@parvez7572video sucks
you have a video to replace the brow types bulds on the older w204s?
Thank a million! Bought from the link
There is only 1 link for the 2 types of lights. It seems to be 2 types of light (center and lateral). Can i have the amazon link for the lateral one?
Great video! Thanks a lot!

This IS NOT the location for the parking bulb for the 2011 W204 C63 AMG it is in another location
mayday jay where is it
thank you so much
Will these parking light bulbs throw an error?
Yes and its very annoying to see "Check Left Parking Light" and "Check Right Parking Light" every time you start the vehicle :/
hi
Why no bulb grease due to dry connections after yrs?
English is my 4th language!! WE KNOW!!
I believe there is a problem when replacing halogen bulbs with LED bulbs ??
No
Nvm this is what I was lookkng for
I put led Lights in And they keep flashing Any advice for me
I have the c250 2013 I want to put new headlights hd do I Remove the bumber ?
Driver side (South Africa) is easy, but passenger side is more difficult, water bottle is in place
Martin Van Wyk I agree
Are you sure it’s as 204 ?
You should never touch the new bulb, or at least you should wipe it with a clean, dry cloth before you put it in place.
Maybe true for halogens. That's a regular incandescent bulb. You can rub boogers on it and it'll work fine.
@@davedammitt7691 It will work, but you compromise it’s light. It even says on the packaging.
🇧🇬
This is not for 2008-2011 pre-face lift W204 models, this is on a 2012-2014 model.. What a putz..
Hey I'm sorry that you got the piece of shit old model. No need to be all butthurt about it.
