"Rudder"... 😄 What an awesome GWP. I wasn't as much into Lego back then as I am now, I definitely would have picked this up had I been. I will probably be picking up the Endurance... *sigh*. A little off topic: I was in Walmart in Charlotte, NC a couple of weeks ago, they had Lego Speed Champion sets for $10. I got the Ferrari 812 & F40, the Lambo V12, and the F&F GT-R all for $10 each. Apparently, Walmart sometimes get overstock and lowers the price of some sets, but the only way to know that is to download the Walmart app and do a price check, because the display will still show the normal price. It's not every Walmart, just those that get overstock so the only way to know is to go to every Walmart around and scan. I will be watching out for that more in the future, that's for sure!
Wow, those are some GREAT deals! Yeah most people, including me, probably would have just passed those up. I learned that there is a “keel” under a sailboat to offset the force of the wind in hitting the sails which makes the sailboat go straight. Kind of makes me wanna sail!
@@TheGreenBrick4Real Yep! The type in the GDP would probably use a fixed keel, indeed. Smaller sailboats use what is called a "centerboard", which is basically a retractable keel. It allows you to remove it so you can bring your sailboat up to a boat ramp for loading onto a trailer and not have it tip over. On our small Sunfish, it was a removable board with a slot in the middle of the boat that we slid it into. That was a LONG time ago, though... Man, I need to get a new sailboat now...
Well, it's not that long ago. One of the better GWPs for sure.
Agreed!

The brick bilt sails make the set somewhat undesirable.
