Dustin should have trained with Volk and his team. They were so meticulous in their preparation for Islam he nullified his grappling and ended the fight on top with ground and pound. He was so much smaller it was insane what he accomplished, and it was 90% due to the preparation.

I think that had more with volk's frame. He is able to get lower with more strength and leverage than a taller fighter would. Being stocky and really solid low is good for takedown defense.

Bisping, uhh... Poirier was NOT knocked out cold by Gaethje. Out cold is when you're laying on the ground completely unconscious and just dead to the world. Good examples of these are Edwards vs Usman, Mitchell vs Emmett, and even yourself vs Henderson in the first fight. Poirier was conscious the entire time he was down. You might need to rewatch that part if you thought he was out cold.

Yeah, Dustin has dispatched a lot of great fighters but look how easily Islam took out the same opponents that Dustin has fought like Dan Hooker, Bobby Green and Charles Oliveria. He made light work of them while Poirier went to war with Hooker and lost to Oliveria. Poirier does have a better resume but that doesn't make him the better fighter
Resumes are subjective. Unless both guys fought the same people, you can’t objectively say one persons resume is better. Oh wait, they both fought oliveira….and guess what happened.
