sure first find whatever you want to the video on (person, ship, show, etc) then find a song. Make sure this song inspires you so you can actually imagine what clips would go with what lyrics at least for most of the song. If you don't do this it is often hard to finish the song & you're most likely to get bored while editing. Find a program that works well for you. The main programs are (in order from best to worse) imovie/movie maker, adobe premiere pro, sony vegas pro & final cut. If you have a windows I suggest sony vegas & if you have a mac use premiere pro as final cut is very very hard to use & vegas doesn't work on mac. You can use movie maker or imovie but your videos will not be of a very good quality & just overall will not be very good as it really limits what you can do. Learn about the program you're going to use watch some videos on it on youtube to help. Once finished get a friend or another vidder to look over it before uploading & see what they suggest to make it better. Asking a vidder is often better then a friend as friends wont always tell you everything & vidders have a more extensive knowledge. Next you want to market the video so Tumblr & Twitter are the best for those things. I seriously suggest this make a few videos first but don't upload them these video will most likely be terrible as you're learning the software. The first video I uploaded was the 4th video I had ever made. Finally make sure you are proud of you're video if you're not proud don't upload because that probably means the video is terrible. Always be proud and take your time starting out. If you have anymore questions you can ask me again here, DM me on Twitter or Instagram (@capnmarshmallow) or message me on Tumblr (@acaptainmarshmallow). The most important rule of vidding is to have fun if you find it boring then don't do it & try to mix it up don't always stick to the same style challenge yourself & learn new techniques along the way. P.S. Make a watermark for the corner of your video because even if the video is bad people will steal it so you need to be able to prove its yours.
