I found this channel about 3 years ago. I remember it was 2016 and I had moved to a city to finish my last two years of high school. I remember feeling the excitement of being in a new place, with new people, and discovering new music such as these playlists. It's funny because it doesn't seem like that long ago but at the same time I feel like I've lived a lifetime since then. So much has happened in my life and these videos are just constant reminders that no matter what happens time marches forward.

It's properly cold here today. Rainy, windy, and cold down here. Snowing up in our neighboring mountains. Winter is coming early this year, I believe. I'm excited. 🧡💛❤️

A few days ago, my best friend introduced me to "Indie Music," And I am SO glad that she did! I recently listened to one of the October 2019 playlists, and that first song "Nice to meet ya!" Had me in LOVE! Listening to this doing homework, so relaxing!
I love listening to this when i just want something calm to listen to. It helps my anxiety so much and I get to celebrate fall with good music instead of the stuff they play on the radio.
Hey, it's working for spring too, - first warmth touching my fragile skin, pulling weeds, birds are joining in, crisp morning turning to sun drenched day - taking care of spring for you 'til it's your turn again.
This comment really strikes a chord with me. Nostalgic, and kind of melancholic. I'm at the strange pivotal point between childhood and adulthood, but I already miss the time when everything had a tinge of exciting mystery to it, and there was no greater joy than walking the dog through country parks, baking with my Mum, playing make-believe with my cousins, or digging into a stack of new books. I look back fondly on my school days, when I'd run outside into the rain before the bell for wet break could ring, not caring that my socks would be soaked, or that my wool blazer would reek of wet sheep for the rest of the day, only thinking of bending the rules and having fun with my friends. At the time, I was desperate to grow up, and to shed what I thought were childish habits, like crying when I was upset, or looking to my parents for comfort. Now I struggle to be emotionally vulnerable, even around those closest to me. The fun I used to have, and the friendships I maintained, are more or less confined to the past now, but I'm making an effort to draw on that childlike sense of wonderment, and enjoyment of simple pleasures, because bloody hell, I need something to keep me sane in the noise of today's world. Wow, I've really gone on a bit of a venting spree! I'm only 18, but I already feel as though I lost my last few years of childhood to anxiety and depression, and mostly for succumbing to the pressure of my teachers, and fretting over my future to the point where nothing else mattered. If anyone reading this is still at school, please take the time to recognise your freedoms, your friends and family, and everything you love most. These should help to shape your future, not force you headlong into it. Take things at your own pace, think things through, and you'll be just fine. (Wish more people had told ME that when I needed to hear it.)
I remember these times of excitement when you discovered something new. But this excitement should go away later in life? I believe no, by being in more new situations and living more new experiences we can feel more like that, we dont have to desensitize ourselves.
hi stranger. just wanna tell you that you're doing an amazing job, and even if you didn't do much today, that's ok. you might not have done as much as you could, or maybe you did, but either way you got something done, and that's what counts. here's a gold star for you! 🌟

I feel someone may need to hear this: I hated talking to and in front of people. I was called to be a pastor, mentor, and public speaker. Sometimes calling is on the other side of fear. Now if you’re afraid of bears that’s probably common sense lol 😂 but maybe you’re afraid to sing in front of people but have a beautiful voice. Maybe you’re afraid of speaking like I was but you have a story only YOU can tell. Fear and failure are stepping stones. Sometimes we trip going up the steps but that doesn’t mean we stop going up the steps and just quit, does it? We usually catch ourselves, curse the step like it’s the steps fault, then keep going. Also we don’t get held up over that step and for a week get mad thinking about the step. You all are great and here for a reason! Keep going!
I agree. Life is Strange is what got me into this style of music in the first place, so I owe a lot to that game. It brings back good memories of when things were just a liiiiiittle better. Gotta replay it sometime...

Indie, Country, Folk, and Alternative genres be hitting different huh. We love these genres because it conveys way deeper meaning and a great story-telling scheme
Great vibe! I love Autumn so much. It may well be my favourite season. Listening to this playlist with the rain hitting the window and the sound of rustling leaves from the tree next to my apartment. It's time for warm lamp light, spiced coffees, socks and cosying up with a book. Can't wait for October walks & Halloween ^^
This playlist is so stinking good. I've listened to it countless times, and it gets better every listen. Thank you for compiling these great playlists!
Am I the only one who would love to make leaf piles and run in them then fall asleep in them? I just want to find someone who appreciates creating fun memories like that.
The second song makes me want to be laying in bed with my man while there’s wood crackling and burning in the fireplace and a soft glow dancing around us.
Without You is my favourite! But honestly you've nailed it! Usually with these playlist I like alot of the songs, but I would only purchase two or three, but on this playlist I honestly think I would buy them all! (If I had money that is XD)
I discovered your playlist about a month ago and they are amazing! I play them as background music in my classroom and my students love them! Thank you!

So relaxing and I love the fall imagery. The music fits perfectly
A lot of these songs feel like something I'd hear in a Life is Strange game. That is the best praise I can give!
I'm in love with these sounds. It makes my heart smile.
Best playlist.
This playlist is so stinking good. I've listened to it countless times, and it gets better every listen. Thank you for compiling these great playlists!

I note down all the really good songs I hear when I listen to these playlists, and I try really hard to be picky but these songs are all so good!
