I think she was holding it away because if you do these very loud high notes close to the mic, the sound will be overdriven (I hope that's the right word). Anyway more groups sing live and while these mics are practical for dancing, they should try opting for hand held mics for the idols that do these intense notes. I've actually seen some groups do that like CRAXY or Billlie (although that was also for their rappers). Anyway it's surprising that so many groups suddenly song live but it's a great development.

Back in ELEVEN era they sang live since 2nd week on Music Core, and on the 4th week in every music show, while in LOVE DIVE, they started singing live since the 2nd week of promos. In After LIKE, they did the same as LOVE DIVE, with the exception that they sang on the first week ony in Music Core, and then they sang live every stage since 2nd week, and well, now in I AM, we probably won't have any pre recorded stages.
@@moongirl8807 i care a lot more about dancing, so i don't mind these mics, the ones you have to hold makes it harder to dance (in my opinion, it's also distracting), but she's actually just holding it in place bc it moves during the dance steps and it might make their voices sound unstable, so she's making sure it's in the right place so she can hit the note properly

@Laura yes all that is true. I guess the mic type is personal preference, I really like these mics and they fit the IVE Aesthetic, would be distracting if one suddenly had a handheld. But it does increase the quality and the feel of the performance and since they are going for these live vocals they could try utilising it. But I'm split on that. It would look really cool for Kitsch I think.

I can say Leeseo is really stable and her voice is pretty loud and clear. Liz and Yujin is already great.

@@aliasuser_ this is not a difficult choreo at all. Not even a little bit. And I was actually going to point out that Leeseo did terrible on this stage. She looks either tired or like she’s just trying to get by and be done. Very stiff, low energy and super unmotivated.

Apesar da Yujin ter sido parte da vocal line do IZ*ONE, ela era bem inferior à Yuri, Eunbi, Chaeyeon, Chaewon e Yena no quesito vocal, por isso não era priorizada na divisão de linhas. Agora no IVE que ela virou essa potência de vocalista
