@@wblebon No friend, just install the TotK optimizer and enable any option above 30FPS. At this point, your game will be running with dynamic FPS, meaning that any FPS above 30 won't speed up or cause delays in your game. Then, disable the V-Sync in your emulator by pressing Control + U.
Thanks for the info, I actually run Citron, Sudachi and Ryujinx, the save state files are still compatible. It just matter of the right emulator for a particular game. I have to say that after the recent update citron has improved big time with certain games. Sifu was originally running at an 19fps average and very choppy on my PC since v0.4 it's been a steady, smooth 30 fps with a little stuttering during shader loading. I will probably try the latest Android version soon to see the improvements on that platform. Great stuff as usual...👍😁

i noticed major improvements going from citron 0.3 to 0.4. On RP5, Mario Wonder went from crashing to being playable on downscaled graphics and Horizon Chase 2 texture glitches were fixed

Some are dead and some like the ones you mentioned in this video are in active development. You also said that your recommendation right now is citron, is it absolute or only between sudachi citron?
para ficar decente, eu precisaria dublar todos os vídeos, esse é um projeto para 2025 ainda, mas para isso eu preciso sair da CLT e trabalhar integralmente no canal. The Citron Linux version seems iffy tho. I had an incredibly brief time with a Linux machine and decided to try running Citron. It didn't worked on Mint, Fedora, and pop os cuz of some library problem, libspeex or something, but It worked fine on that same pc using Windows. 😢
Last Year my CPU was also reachin high temp levels, updated my Bios but still was like that, did 2 things that really worked well, adquired a Arctic Cooler Fan to put on top of the CPU and also do a slight undervolt on the CPU in that offset mode menu in the Bios, not to be mistaken with underclock, cause of my CPU havin some random voltage spikes, but i understand, Brasil has high temps even during Winter and that makes things harder for Consoles or PCs🥵
Eu tenho um setup um pouco menos que vc, mas fiz o mesmo processo, mudei de INTEL que estava há anos para AMD, que hoje em dia aqui no Brasil é muito mais custo beneficio. Peguei um R5 3600 e estava chegando aos 86ºC com tudo certo e sem problemas aparente, no meu caso tive que fazer undervolting para diminuir drasticamente a temperatura, que agora não passa dos 70ºC em full load e quando está bem calor mesmo, e que a maioria das vezes fica bem abaixo disso. Fiz isso tbm na placa de vídeo, fazendo uma curvatura na voltagem dela no MSI pra poder diminuir o tanto de Volts que vai pra ela (logico, não fazendo nenhum tipo de mudança que estrague ela). E também tive uma diminuição na temperatura de 82°C para 70ºC no maximo! Peguei dicas no Lucas Peperaio num vídeo que ele aborda isso da placa de vídeo, super recomendo!! E futuramente pretendo pegar um CPU melhor parecido com o seu mesmo, já que meu foco também é na emulação.
Valew pelas dicas meu amigo, para focar em emulação basicamente a instrução AVX-512 é obrigatória, principalmente RPCS3, então verifiquei se a CPU tem essa instrução antes de comprar, a maior parte dos i5, não tem, a maior parte dos ryzen 5 tem. É algo que parece que a intel não esta muito afim de investir, mas faz diferença

@jarjarbinks8954 I usually suggest running BotW on CEMU. It’s the same game, the same textures, and the mod configurations for CEMU provide infinitely better performance.
Echoes of Wisdom remains playable on Citron for me with only minor visual glitches with the voids. I'm on Windows with Vulkan backend and a RX6600. Maybe it's only borked on NVidia.
Is citron better at places like lookout landing and around hyrule castle? Yuzu and ryujinx have stutters there if above 30 fps, even on high end hardware.
Using Radeon 780m integrated graphics, with Zelda TOTK on Sudachi with Vulcan, it crashes; on Citron there are a lot of graphical artefacts so not great. With OpenGL, still shows box when entering a shrine and when leave and enter a shrine the ground is solid colour; clearly work to do! (please, as Vulcan is better if it works). Yuzu seems better then Sudachi still.

Still can't configure the Odin 2's controls properly. Sticks are not recognized as they should be, no matter which control profile I select. Until this is resolved, I consider this bad and remain on yuzu. Anyone?
I saw tests of TotK running on an SD8 Gen 1, and I was impressed. The game no longer crashes due to memory issues. There are still some graphical problems, but it’s playable. In the test I saw, the person played for 45 minutes, doing extreme tests, and there were no crashes from the emulator or RAM shortages.
On the github, there's an optimized apk version for android which mentioned frame generation. Any idea which device supported it? Because my SD8G3 certainly not.
I don't think so. In almost a year of development with other forks, Yuzu has already fallen behind, especially when it comes to the compatibility list.
Citron runs this game great, but I still prefer Ryujinx, because Yuzu based emulators are still suffers from rare vertex explosions (by my experience). For the other hand, Ryujinx have rare crashes when you play for a while
For that, I would need a RedMagic 10. At the moment, I can’t afford it. I’ve emailed RedMagic to see if they’re open to a partnership. If they accept, I’ll definitely make it happen.
bro.. when i compared both with 2 games i got i had worse results :( Catherine: Full Body freezes on main menu (playable on sudachi) and Super Mario Odyssey also stutters a lot and audio cuts (also works fine on sudachi) im using the same settings on both emulators 2x fsr vulkan normal fxaa but also have a bit worse specs.. 3060 laptop 6gb vram and 16gb ram but like i said both games worked perfectly on sudachi.. now i have to go reinstall 😭

@ArnavRaut-u7t To achieve decent performance today, it's recommended to have at least a 12th-gen i5 processor, preferably one with AVX-512 instruction support. Additionally, 6GB of VRAM is required for gameplay in Full HD, but it's mainly needed for heavier games like Bayonetta 3 or Zelda TotK.

@@JesterSeven-ww8nc I replicated the NAND from one emulator to another, even the save file is the same. In the end, Citron had a 10FPS higher average than Sudachi. Unfortunately, I just noticed that this part didn’t go live. Also, the low 1% indicates how much stuttering occurred while compiling shaders.
I just updated the BIOS and adjusted the fan curve and the pump on the water cooler. Overall, even with the fans set to normal mode, it’s holding up well. I’m using the custom configuration only for long hours of gameplay or recording.
If you uninstall the old version you're going to have to import your save files which can be done in-game. Just long press on a game to open individual game settings. As for game updates and DLC's I'm afraid you're going to have to re-install them as you can't import them as of yet

Don't run the stable versions of Ryu. IMO you should be on canary. It is over 225 more updates over stable. Ryu is my emu of choice.

But the Texture Glitching on Disney Music Parade is still not fixed. It's a shame because you can't see the Parade Vehicles.

Undervolting helps a lot in thermals without dropping performance.

Brasil não é para amadore qdo falando de calor, aqui onde moro no noroeste de SP, as vezes faz + de 40º em raras ocasiões

@@JesterSeven-ww8nc I replicated the NAND from one emulator to another, even the save file is the same. In the end, Citron had a 10FPS higher average than Sudachi. Unfortunately, I just noticed that this part didn’t go live. Also, the low 1% indicates how much stuttering occurred while compiling shaders.

Did you make any changes to settings in BIOS for that CPU (I have it too), like PBO or undervolt?
I just updated the BIOS and adjusted the fan curve and the pump on the water cooler. Overall, even with the fans set to normal mode, it’s holding up well. I’m using the custom configuration only for long hours of gameplay or recording.

Install the update, I did and did not affect any data.
If you uninstall the old version you're going to have to import your save files which can be done in-game. Just long press on a game to open individual game settings. As for game updates and DLC's I'm afraid you're going to have to re-install them as you can't import them as of yet
