In an exclusive interview with Network 18 Group Editor- in-Chief Rahul Joshi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi rubbished the "match fixing" allegations of opposition parties during polls, asking why the congress - which was in power before 2014, failed to return to the centre if it had the might of the central agencies backing it.
In an exclusive interview with Network 18, PM Modi said the answers to the opposition's doubts over EVMs had been given by the Supreme Court.
"In 2014, they had ED and CBI, then why did they lose? If elections could have been won by ED - CBI, then ED - CBI's work has been done by the congress for years. they would have won," PM Modi said in response to a question by Network 18s Group Editor-in-Chief Rahul Joshi.
The Prime Minister added "you cannot fix the election of such a big country, even for a Municipality you can't fix lections. Try it, is it possible? they are just fooling the world. The sad thing is that instead of asking them, the media asks us {about these allegations}."

BJP also lacking in ground level spreading the achievements since 2014. A comparative study should have been distributed in local languages before 2023. The whole party leaned on "MODI CHARISMA". In my state, Odisha, Naveen Ji is a strong leader & running 5th & anticipated a 6th term. But BJP this time made some dents and chances of getting more seats both in Assembly and Parliament than 2019. He is obviously a popular leader among Odias.
Do people & media don't understand, that Rahul, Akhilesh, Tejaswi and few more are simply can't win a Sarpanch election without the Family dinasty? Where are we heading for?
