Even though i know we shouldn’t outsource our happiness & appreciate what you have, i would like to ask everyone to put there input in - how to REALLY realize and appreciate what you have and find happiness within ourselves? Thank You
Interesting topic. Human wants are unlimited. But one time life partner has to be very understanding , calm and patience, then trust. Jealousy makes things complicated and cause problem’s .
Upon first thought, I realized that when you prioritize other people's happiness over your own, you naturally become less demanding of others and show less concern for your own pleasure. Your own happiness is what truly brings you true inner contentment. Whenever I was feeling down or depressed, I would think of individuals who didn't have access to food, clothing, or a place to live, but were content nevertheless, and it would make me realize how fortunate I really am. I really believed at the time that we should be content with what we have and that life is too short to worry about needless little things.
Trauma begins from childhood specially in boarding school abandoned by parents, abused by older kids, torture by foster parents and teachers , Jenny is right our childhood was a trauma
Much appreciated for your podcast! I completely agree with Jenny. Happy are those who take life day by day, complain a very little, and thankful for the small things in life.
When you leave kids behind, they might or will have abandonment Trauma. Jenny is right. Just because she wasn’t abused, it doesn’t mean she didn’t had trauma. I had the same feelings over and over. I can feel what she felt. That doesn’t mean we are not grateful for what our parents sacrificed. We understand now as adults what they did was only option back then.
Danny Dorjee is my favorite so far because he is outspoken. When I am listening this podcast , Namgyal Dolma is stepping forward to her best level according to her age . Her understanding level and learning through experiences is another level and I appreciate for that and keep encouraging to our youngsters. Thanks to the whole team for sharing own thoughts in this podcast . ❤️
Aww totally agree with Jenny regarding childhood trauma. First of all today’s content was very good topic to cover. I grew up in hostel and if anyone ask about those days, I don’t like to recall. I had a tough time killing in hostel days due to loneliness. Like Denny mentioned that was mild trauma comparing to relationships breakup trauma. Great podcast.
Really I appreciate jenny ‘s word for Buddhism which we Tibetans have in our hand. So, try to learn or listen to our living example his holiness Dalai Lama’s teachings .
I can totally relate to you Jennie dolma People of your mothers age will not understand it, since they have been through so much in there life that they are bound to overlook such things.
If u really wanna to live peacefully life u have to learn how to detach with ur feelings from every situation n every one even though from ur real child n ur real parent. Just feel the moment with every one n every moment. Leave ur life with moment. If possible forgive for everything for every one but don’t forget. The u can leave ur life ur inner peace for ur hold life. 🥰😍
Very true and really really nice topic.. 100 percent true.. realisation and emotional healing by being present who are around is geniusn happiest.. attachment is something very unspeakable.. attachement always made me suffer by being I am a too attached person
That’s true because desire never ends , period ! But it’s again different feelings experiences to everyone and some understand and control mind since monkey mind creates everything to a good to bad and vice versa! Just a thought ! But I appreciate the feelings you share which will help others to realize that’s very natural . Just a thought :)
Unfortunately our parents didn’t receive proper childhood and care and then they unknowingly pass it onto us. It’s up to us as new generation Tibetans to break the cycle and educate ourselves on how to properly raise children before having children
Wow, the topic discussion is so interesting and meaningful.. And I think that, the best way to get the answer is , To Watch and Listen to His Holiness the Dalai Lama's blessing of teaching or speech. His teaching of compassion, tolerance and wisdom are the best way to open your happiness 😊 (It's only my view point)
Danny dorjee I can feel you. U waiting for your dream girl. And your sister is indirectly pointing to her mom and vise versa. I can feel n sense the unparalleled individual in one family. That’s cool 👍 and it’s normal. Keep going ..
Since my childhood started with trauma. I am right now 37 years old and still struggling mentally and emotionally. I never blame my parents that’s I didn’t have proper health childhood. But I need a lot of time to heal myself mentally and emotionally. Since we want to be parents really need to race our children right way from physically mentally emotionally . There is many my point of view. But English not good and not enough words to express. 😂😂😂
Realites happyness is in ur hand (Tibetan provide say that མཆོག་ཤེས་. But still human being searching happyness for other n external appearance. I think that is big mistake.
