    magic circle
    10 sc in magic circle
    tighten the circle
    sl st in the first sc
    chain 1 and cut
    petals:
    start at the right start where u ended
    sl st
    chain 2
    dc in same st
    next st, dc, and hdc in the same st
    chain 1
    sl st in the next stitch
    ch 1
    hdc in same st
    dc in same
    next st, dc and hdc
    chain 1
    sl st in next stitch
    chain 1
    repeat for all the petals
    (hdc, dc, next st dc, hdc)
    stem:
    good side facing up, sl st with green
    ch 7
    back into the chains
    in the 2nd, sc
    then hdc
    then dc
    then hdc
    then sc
    then sl st in last chain
    chain however times u want according to the length u want
    weave in ends

    I made this for my mom.She is studying for her dream job and she really needed a bookmarker! Usually she uses a plain piece of pape or smt.

    I had a bit of trouble with the leaf but other than that it was great!! Very helpful and my girlfriend loved it!

    i'm a beginner and i made this in about half an hour. it turned out adorable, although weaving in the ends was confusing for me since i didn't have a big enough needle. overall, i definitely recommend new crocheters to try this simple project :)

    How did you connect the circle I tried at tutorials but it kept coming undone how did you do it?

      If you’re talking about the magic circle (the white color in this video), then after you’ve done your ten single crochet, there should be two yarn tails. One that you’ve been crocheting under, and another lose one. After you’ve finished, just pull the lose yarn tail tight until the circle closes :)
