Thank you for making this! Like everyone else here I was afraid to do this haha. Great walkthrough on how to do this. Going to be fixing a few of my PS1 games today!
i think the case you put it in is more legit with the bars on the opening side rather than those little dots (I might be wrong). Those dots can damage the manual anyway so it is better protected from damage with the hinge lid with the bars. Perhaps someone has recased that one before.
I've just been using old cases I had laying around. Trying to keep them in a decent condition for the collection.BTY...nice channel Canadian Retro.....
@@KingWilliam Cool thanks for checking my channel out. I haven't found much to upload lately as the thrift stores have been a little dry so I might have to figure out some new content to put up. Dunno what though at this point.
That's a great album too haha. Was my favorite for a little bit. Glad getting the back off isn't too hard, i was worried it was more complicated than that
I’m going to do that with my ps2 games as I’m not happy with some of the cases on them I learned from my mistakes to not let people borrow my games again lol
it’s so much harder to do this surgery on a double wide fat case, have you found that too? that center divider doesn’t fit every plastic jewel case back
@@KingWilliam the worst one are those double wides that only fit 1 CD, you know what i’m talking about? like, one of the trays is just smooth? gran turismo 1 had a case like that. sourcing those is a pain but thankfully only some games have that annoying case. it’s satisfying fixing up jewel cases
I was so afraid to break my case, thank you so much for doing this. Now silent hill is looking good in my old case of Gran Turismo!
Just so you know, Maxell made clear 10mm cases in a 12-pack. Perfect replacement cases for PS1 and Dreamcast games...
Thank you, man! You helped me out a lot right there! I was so afraid of doing this! But you gave me confidence!

Freshen them up. Jewel cases are inexpensive. I sometimes steal nice ones for games I like and put the stickers one on others

That was a good album. I know I have a good copy somewhere, so no CD's were destroyed.....:)

Great video! Straight to the point! Thank you!!
Glad it helps
Dollar tree somehow still sells brand new music CDs for those needing cases.
I have to stop in there. The one by me just moved to a bigger building
Thank you!

I think there's a few versions out there. Luckily I haven't had too many of those bad.

@@ibnkhaldoun4319 I never understood those. You open it and there's 1 disc. I always look around thinking a disc is lost
