There are several reasons why Gojo got sealed -
He wasnt serious enough , under estimated his opponents
He was immature to not adapt to the situation and consider sacrificing few for the greater good ( but this is related to point 1 as he is under estimating his battle here , kinda understandable given his long unrivaled years )
Often smarter people tend to over exert themselves , always challenging their limits. He expected to both save people and kill enemies. ( That 0.2 second move was risky , even for Gojo's standards ).
one more reason: gege literally said gojo was too strong and had to remove him from the story somehow

We all know Gege hate writing Gojo due to his OP, but people saying "Gege hates Gojo that's why he got all these L" is just asinine. Literally every writer does that, they choose what happened to the plot and the cause and effect of it. The fact that people's comments are 'Gege hates Gojo' and not 'Shibuya arc doesn't make sense' alone is proof enough how Gojo being sealed was well written.

If gojo didn’t get sealed sukuna would’ve stayed at his 11 finger form, jogo wouldn’t have survived to give the fingers, and yuji wouldn’t be unconscious so the girls couldn’t feed him them either. Yuji can handle 20 finger sukuna if he eats 1 finger a day.

Alright this video is wrong at very points, First thing you should remeber that kenjaku is the smartest character of the verse !
And if you had this thing in the mind you would have actually gotten to the right point !
So, first mistake you made is gojo winning domain battle, gojo's domain is stronger than the rest of the character present there except kenjaku
Gojo is going to loose the domain battle as well as the battle, Kenjaku can simply order jogo and mahito to open domain simultaneously to make it 3 domain battle clash which way too much complicated than the normal domain, leading to the canecling of domain expansion !(and lets not forget there were civilians present)
Kenjaku can even order dagon to open his domain to make it even more complicated and confirming the no one's domain gonna work and opening his own domain which is open domain !
And kenjaku would have won the domain battle anyway !
At this point gojo can't take on kenjaku and disaster curses while inside the domain ! (kenjaku's sure hit effect is way more lethal than sukuna's domain sure hit effect for the case like gojo who can use rct )
+ Kenjaku still got his prison realm and uraume with him ! ( And the one who come and gonna say gojo one shot uraume thats not true, he made uramue puke with one punch just like with hakari and yuta not one shotting )

So this season the writer tried removing the one overpowered MCs he created himself from season 1 , and keep overpowered villains going.
