OMG! I wish we had Chinese EVs available in the West (G7 countries). We don't even have enough charging stations, and we are supposed to become carbon neutral asap.
"Carbon neutrality" is a scam. They don't even know what it means. But it's like religions. People that are blind don't want to know what it's all about!
In fact, in South America, Chinese electric vehicles have begun to open factories and develop offline dealers. This year, BYD even launched an electric pickup truck specifically for Mexico. I predict that in less than five years, you will find a very outrageous one. The fact is that the car market in South America may be more developed than in North America, and by then some people in North America may have to rely on parallel imports of Chinese electric cars from Mexico.
Glad you mentioned ‘carbon neutral asap’, I suspect Europe and North America have forgotten about carbon neutral targets, the reality is that China alone produces 59% of the world's clean energy (including solar, wind and hydro etc.) in 2023, and surely more this year. And China's advanced battery technology makes electric cars really, really much more environmentally friendly than oil, and making the advanced batteries now doesn't produce some pollution as it did originally, which means that the spread of electric cars is really, really good for nature. I can't really get my head around what the G7 countries have actually done to become carbon neutral, and it almost seems like China is the only one that can be said to be serious about becoming carbon neutral at this point, which is frustrating to me. Thankfully there are still brothers in the world like you who remember that we should be carbon neutral as soon as possible.
Remember a new car should not cost more than 3 months of your annual salary, this is the standard measurement that you are not living beyond your means by any financial consultant for the past 50 years !
@@efei33 This is because the Chinese consumers have a lot of options ...this is true competition unlike in the west where you are faced with only a few options so the prices stay high !
Thanks for showing. In Chinese social media we talk more about some little difference of each car brand. For example xiaomi su7 has extra extra sunscreen glass and built-in phone holders. Avatar has the best self-driving technology because the brand is from Chinese top 1 tech company Huawei, top 1 battery company and 1 of oldest automobile company. So you really have good taste, pick the best one at first glance😂😂
Hey bro, hope you can visit a Zeeker dealer store(a brother brand of Lynk&Co), they have beautiful pure electric shooting-brake version Zeeker model 001, actually I got one recently.❤
No man, these were just pre orders. There are hundreds of brands in China, more eye catching and cheaper:) Check deepal S7 and sl03, the cost around 17k USD :)
Bro I'm still driving a 2011 Hyundai Sonata... the prices for the EVs/Cars in NA are just ridiculous. I'm going to drive my damn sedan into the ground because I can't afford anything new. Even used prices for vehicles are f'n ridiculous. What happened to free market?
I saw the BUD seal in the Caribbean and I can tell you it was solid. The owner said he purchased the vehicle for less than 18k. It had everything you would need and more luxurious than any car I have owned.
The Chinese EV makers will target the larger US market first, once they are popular in the US, Canada will just follow ! BYD wanted to set up a factory in Mexico so they can import into the US as Mexico, US and Canada are all members of NAFTA/USMCA, but Biden said they will also apply tariffs on BYD's Mexican produced EVs. Mexico needs to grow a pair and stand up the Americans !
@@etow8034If BYD car stand up USA, they will collected to 100% import tax, and the office pirce in Mexico will be more than Chinese, so the car will be became expensive, not substantial like video...
@@KouroshKamyabi I think the best way is to cooperate with these brands for a local EV factory in Canada or USA, then more jobs offered, the better cars people drived, and the traffis knocked off.
never. Because when their technology is higher than yours, they will talk to you about the free market and sell you products. But after your technology leads, they will accuse you of overcapacity, stealing their technology, etc., and ban you from sales.
In the USA with the 100% tarriffs on Chinese EVs going straight into the pockets of the corrupt Washington regime those cars would be double the price 😢
@@TheNorville2 Is it Chinese automakers fault American automakers can't innovate and compete in the free market. The Washington regime blamed CPC subsidiaries what's hypothetical as they neglect to mention the US government subsidies Tesla with 34 billion what is 10x more than BYD which was only subsidied 3.7 billion. Charging a 100% tariff on US consumers will create long term inflation on the US economy that doesn't harm Chinese automakers but disadvantages the already struggling US consumer. The only ones benefiting is Elon Musk and the US government who profits off US taxpayers.
China already found a solution to avoid custom tariffs they're opening factories in the west, they'll open factories in the US and in Canada exactly like they do in Hungary to avoid Europe tariffs. Chinese are years ahead when it come to EV cars their cars will sell everywhere!
I was in Hong Kong last week and got to see many of these in the wild. Most of the ubers in HK were Tesla Model Y/S... we even got an X.. they are all in with EV over there. BYD's were my favorite that I saw.
You may find the trick useful: changing your title into a contrary attitude, such as Who told you China would be the future of cars? Or is China getting into the wrong way in its car industry? Then RUclips will stop limiting the recommendation of your videos.
In recent years, in the Chinese market, electric vehicle and hybrid vehicle manufacturers have engaged in almost brutal competition. The car manufacturers and products you see are the remaining winners after fierce competition. Each manufacturer has Has its own exclusive technology. Because China is the world's largest industrial country, the advantage of a complete industrial chain has resulted in the extremely high cost performance of Chinese cars.
@@IA100KPDT Wrong ! Wanxiang Automotive owns Fisker. It one of the largest auto parts producers in the world and has factories in the US. 1 in 3 cars from GM and Ford uses their parts !
Canadian here, but Australia and the UK already have so many Chinese auto brand...we're not getting any because our government is really afraid of offending and not following what US does, like 100% tariff on EVs from China
@@KouroshKamyabi Actually they're sold in western Europe and New Zealand, once BYD (China's largest EV maker) opens a plant they mentioned in Mexico, this will likely bypass the USMCA rules and make it's way to Canada. Other Chinese brands might follow BYD.
Unfortunately, those EVs powered by the Huawei EV system such as that AVATR at the end of the video will probably never going to be sold in North America (and maybe Europe). It is the technology of these Huawei powered cars that would completely blow the minds of people in the West. I've already explained this elsewhere in the comments section, but allow me to repeat it here : Huawei's EV system has EXTREMELY powerful autonomous driving capabilities. As far as I know, ALL cars with the Huawei system inside can : - Autonomously go and find parking by itself - And then park by itself - And then when you've finished your shopping, etc, you press a button on the Huawei app on your phone, the car will automatically turn on, leave the parking and come and find you! I came here from the Chinese version of Tiktok, and I'm glad you are telling everyone about Chinese technology and cars in a positive way. Welcome to Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, I treat you to local specialties.
This is just the tip of the iceberg, there are dozens of excellent electric vehicle manufacturers in China, we have iterated in the domestic market for four or five generations, competing with each other and constantly developing technology, and then the price is very low, but I believe it will continue to optimize,The real auto revolution has only just begun.

Imagine most of Chinese cars have two options: pure EV or extended range PHEV with gasoline engine and big battery. And actually PHEV category sells BEST.
LynCo is not an EV brand, it's a gas & hybrid brand. And its brother Zeekr is an EV brand, with very similar logo. You might also go to the BYD stores to checkout how inexpensive the cars are.

Chinese companies are creating life long brands for their fans. Teenagers uses a Xiaomi or Huawei smartphone and yearns to own a Xiaomi or Huawei EV when he grows older and has some money ...that is how they work !
In China, consumers are more inclined to carry Huawei intelligent driving system of the car, such as Avita 11, 问界M7,M9, Xiaomi is just entering the automotive industry, after all.
In China, it takes more than a year for an ordinary worker to earn 99,800 yuan, while in the United States, it takes less than half a year for an ordinary worker to earn 33,000 dollars, so it is still cheaper in the United States.

Chinese electric vehicles not only come with various high-end luxury features, but their performance is also excellent. Many cars cost just over 200,000 RMB (40,000 USD), yet they can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in less than 4 seconds.

Lynk & Co is a new brand launched by Geely Automobile after it acquired Volvo. Lynk & Co means link and communication. So it has both Volvo's traditional fuel vehicle technology and China's Geely Automobile's new energy technology. At the same time, Lynk & Co's racing team "Cyan Racing" has also won the season championship for three consecutive years in the WTCR competition with Audi, Hyundai, Honda and other manufacturers.
@@KouroshKamyabi My favorites are the Ideal line of cars LI8 and LI7, KK you're like me and just had a kid, you should love the LI brand, it's so family friendly.
I drive a Geely (maker of zeekr and lynk and co) here in my country. They just entered our market 3 to 4 years ago and my geely sedan, in china, is used as a basic economy car and taxis but here, damn, they stomp on the equivalent sedans from established japanese brands. Body panels, fit and finish, design both exterior and interior, engine power etc. It really feels nice driving it. Feels luxurious. Even with a lot of china hate being pushed to the public (our president is a puppet of the US), lots of people are still buying them. Seeing more and more on the road.
Geely is good. It is not one of the emerging luxury brands in China, but it has some very good mid-range cars and some light luxury sub-brands. In the early days, it made some basic economic cars, but it grew very fast and acquired Volvo around 2010 and achieved further growth.
BYD launched a sedan called Seal 06 DMi. The basic model sold RMB ¥99,800 which is about USD $14,000. The most impresive is its hybrid system equiped with all Seal 06 DMi model. It can do 2.9L gas per 100km which is 81.1 mile per gallon.
China already found a solution to avoid custom tariffs in Europe they're opening factories in the west to avoid custom tariffs! There's already a massive BYD factory under construction in Hungary. China is years ahead on EV cars, Better autonomy, Better selling prices even Mercedes and Volkswagen are buying chinese electric motors for their EV cars!
In Europe is no problem to buy chinese car like BYD, MG, Nio, Aiways, Lynk & Co., they are not ban. As well in the countries in Europe are not in the EU.The U.S. have imposed sanctions on China cars, that's the wrong way. I always was thinking the US proud of free market. The market will reguladet by its self. Many car manufacturers in the US and Europe produce all over what the customers wanted. China cars are simply a generation ahead of the cars from the US and Europe. That's why no country should impose sanctions on China, this country will lose. The competition will regulate this itself. The mix is the solution
You can buy MG cars, it was bought by a Chinese company, but the price will not be as cheap as in China because of tariffs, and Western countries do not want Chinese cars to be sold so expensive in their country, which will cause Western car companies to go bankrupt.
To those rich guys, they may choice highend EV brands like NIO, Zeekr, BYD is not in their selection. Bot for most normal family, they may choice old Mitsubishi lancer, Honda civic gen8 or sth, because in Chinese's huge market, these cars are massive, you can handle it for less than 3k USD
Went to Nanjing a few months ago and had a look around a shopping centre - all the EV companies were there on the ground floor. Having shoppers walk past and able to take a look is good thinking and no tailpipe emissions means no issue having them running inside.
See how much technology you get for your money as compared here in the US. It’s just so expensive here without those technology especially the seat massager is I think insane.
My car is Cadillac. My next car would definitely be a China EV or hybrid. I need 360 sight, auto park and nice screen. American cars just couldn't provide these at proper price.
Would love to have these cars for sale in Canada, where we pay through the nose for cheap junk. For example, even the bare bones Toyota Corolla costs $19,000 USD. For that money, you get to enjoy such luxury features as manual seats, old school ignition with key, a giant 8 inch infotainment display and a whopping 169 horse power!

@@胡晶-c9s l can't wait!
You can consider buying Chinese hybrid cars, fuel economy is also a great advantage for countries that lack charging stations.

We are way behind the technology, wonder when we can buy Chinese EV car in Canada
I don't think we will see these cars on Canadian roads for awhile.

In recent years, in the Chinese market, electric vehicle and hybrid vehicle manufacturers have engaged in almost brutal competition. - And then park by itself
