Great stuff, especially the chord sequencing.

Hey man - love the M32 videos! I think the M32's limitations are part of its beauty, like when you have only 2 notes that the LFOs can play, the art is to compose a chord sequence that makes that limitation a pro rather than a con. Great channel. Instant sub!

Pretty much all of my patches and tutorials are based on ways to work around the M32's limitations, so I definitely agree! There's something very satisfying about finding a way to do something that at first glance you'd think was impossible, like the 4-note chords...

Mastery! You're all over this stuff... amazing.

I had a 12 year old all over my two M32s today, he makes electronic music in FL Studio and was gleeful to get hands on a modular set-up. Definitely sounded different to my stuff!

Great stuff. I'm just going to try it out... ooops have real work to finish first, but I will!

Hey Moog send me a 3rd so I can finish the trilogy :*

They should send you three DFAM and three of that new one when they start to produce it as well + print that booklet I'm talking about over here, with percentages of sale to you of course.

And send me a Voyager, an original RA Minimoog, and shares in the company while they're at it ;)

I'm sure I could if I got one.... I'd build a bigger studio if needed!

Hey great advices mate, thanks! I'm planning to buy a second M32 as well, but I still can't figure it out if it's possible to get a complete "traditional" synth out of the couple of M32... I mean, do you think it's possible to patch in order to get a 2 osc and full ADSR envelope on the VCF at the same time? Thanks

It's easy to get 2 oscillators into the filter, just patch one of the VCO outputs from one M32 into the Ext Audio input of the other. You can make an ADSR envelope using the technique I showed in this video,.
It is a bit convoluted to make an ADSR envelope, but honestly, you don't often need one. I had a full DH-ADSR module and ended up barely using it because AD and ASR envelopes like the M32 have are good for the vast majority of sounds!
My setup has changed since this video, but it used to be a Moog-sounding 'traditional' synth. Here's the full setup I had:
      www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/517174
It was absolutely excellent and was very versatile (the majority of my videos used that setup), but if you're just wanting a traditional synth and you're willing to spend the 2-3k that setup would cost... It might be worth getting a Sub 37 or similar instead and save the rest. Just my 2c.

Wilson Well I bought the M32 because I was absolutely astonished by its sound, but now I'm feeling the lack of the second osc and ADSR envelope. I have a limited budget so I would buy just another mother if this could "complete" the first one... the plan B would be leaving the project of the Moog and looking for a more complete synth, maybe a Korg Arp Odissey desktop, which is about the same price and sounds lovely. I'll have to think about it... Thanks for your suggestion!

is possible to create a 64 steps sequencer with both machines ? I mean one moog plays 32 steps and the other moog plays other 32 steps after finishing the first moog . Don´t know you understood me.

Good question - no it's not, but I might look into finding a way to patch it up to see if it's possible.

So it turns out it's possible, with a bit of patching! I'll post a tutorial about it in a couple of days.
