Hello from Ukraine! I like how you really try to delve into the plot of the game. I see other foreign bloggers just playing the game without delving into the plot at all, and it's really sad, so I wish you success and thank you for your content!
1:17:16 Dvupalov helped create Faust, then he left and MDST (later known as C Consciousness ) continued without him then MDST hooked Faust to the monolith. then he was a monolithian and then Strelok destroyed C Consciousness and monolithians were free. and so did Faust became free. for a time Faust was confused without the monolith and he joined Strider and created the noontide. later Faust somehow reconnected to the monolith network and that's when it all began
29:00 - why there's so many skeletons there? Because Strelok went through that place and there were bandits in the way. A sort of a nod for old-time players, as is the Strelok's stash. 1:22:25 - the game has two different paths throughout the majority of it, depending on if you're more friendly to Ward (Korshunov) or Spark (Scar). The ones you're not friendly with, shoot you on sight, duh.
In order to unlock some modifications you need to find the blue USB flash drive of that modification, they are found in stashes. And some technicians can only upgrade certain items. Strelok was the first person in the SIRCA group and was the lead scientific advisor for the group, set up by the government to study the zone. If you thought Scar was crazy, then Strelok is a very complicated character, he is yin & Yang at the same time. SIRCA ended up going a similar route that the C-Concious did except they are trying to commercialise the zone for themselves. Strelok left them and the zone to "regroup" and return to end it all, again :) The jumpy Snork mutants were the first responders to the Chernobyl disaster so are unique mutants and were being studied, the animals are natural mutations, but you are correct in your assumption about the humanoid mutants they were project X experiments on humans and Faust is a "succesful" controller experiment who lost his purpose when Scar and Strelok caused the zone reactions and Strelok killed the C-Concious scientists and turned the Monolith off. Strelok wants the zone to exist and evolve naturally without the Monolith, Scar wants the zone to exist but as the shining zone (which is an illusion) and Faust wants the Monolith to return so he has purpose. As I said before the lore of this game is super convoluted and very in depth. If you ever get the chance I suggest that you watch the 1979 Stalker film, it is an amazing story and a work of art, it really makes you think about the human condition.
Great video, love that you are so into the Stalker lore! I´d recommend watching some story recap video about the previous games. There are tons of them on YT, usually about 30 minutes and it will explain many of your questions. :)
Hi there Mari! Great to see you upload again:D The upgrade circle for the helmet is not available cause you have to collect that piece via the mission you're doing right now, there is only one upgrade for these kinds of armour at the moment. 1) I suggest you do some artifact hunting in the anomalous zones, gets you some money if you just sell them or simply get better artifacts for yourself to boost your survivability, plus SEVA after another upgrade can hold 5 slots plus 2 rad free slots, so its encouraged to get those quickly to boost yourself in carry weight, damage resist or rad resist or other. 2)Fora benefits from upgrades that improve the length of the shot as well as recoil control, if you concentrate on that your Fora will be very reliable in long distances too. 3)Try hunting for special upgrades as well, it brings the weapon on another level as well, stock up on armour piercing rounds that way you can use this weapon against stronger opponents and later use the ammo in your Dnypro once you buy or find it. 4)The ''magical'' sound you heard was the aftereffects of a Poltergeist levitation ability, not sure if its a sound bug or its meant to linger on even after his death. xd 5)About 80% of the whole monster roster were humans, others are either natural mutations due to the Zone being the Zone or other human meddling. Faust was one of these people as well, that's why Dvupalov sends you to collect those documents, cause from the recording you found in X5 you can hear him trying to communicate to one of the Controlers(Faust probably?), so he has first hand knowledge of the Controlers, cause he used to work at X5 and was one of the researchers there. Generaly in Stalker universe they heavily imply and confirm on multiple occasions the interest of USSR government to fund and lean into mind-control or thought of suggestion research. We find it on many occasions like the Monolith, Brain Scorcher, Project Controler, Psi-emissions, Duga, Limansk Psi towers, etc., so like 90% if not all of it was done by humans, pretty creepy but then again we are the scariest thing in the real world too, so no suprise there that it takes a human to bring about horrors beyond imagination xd.
Great progress! But you are well beyond the stage of the Fora now. It's a good upgrade on the AK in the early game but not much of an improvement now. If you want to carry an AR, opt for G37, Kharod or Dnipro - all are very avaiable for you at this stage. There are plent of good sniper rifles out there as well. For SMGs I recommend the Zubr19, probably the best rifle in the game. The new upgrade on your helmet: this is the phantom surpressor whose blue prints you're currently hunting. The outpost you try to enter is the HQ of Ward. You have to take their side to enter it. I don't believe you can get there in this playthrough. EDIT: What's great is, that you are able to enter Rostok, Freedom seem already neutral again. You get the best prices here and it's definitely worth turning the NPCs green due helping with the side quests (maybe off cam). You also can sell red weapons here.
1:05:24 I think you are blaming SIRCAA for more things for which they are responsible. The Controller Project is not related to them since Dvupalov's same assistant tells you that not even SIRCAA has dared to create new specimens 25:51, he also mentions that it is a Malachite project. And considering that it is a relatively new faction, it is difficult for them to have had anything to do with the creation of mutants like the Controller that was already there before.
I'm not telling you how to play but I'm not gonna lie, whenever you just jump into an anomaly like a kid puddle jumping, I cringe and go "she knows she's got bolts, right?" lol I guess it's just Pavlovian at this point because I play with modded difficulty and those anomalies are a 1 hit kill for me.
Its sucks that I've had to resort to watching plauthroughs of this game to see the story since this very quest is straight up broken for me. After I get the supressor blueprint and return to Dvupalov, Scherba isn't there with him (Found out he's just standing around where you first meet him) and trying to talk to Dvupalov results in the "Hey looking for some vodka" line but his lips don't move and the audio for his voice doesn't play and loading earlier saves does nothing and since I'm on Xbox, there are no mods or console commands to use to fix it. I'm also sure as hell not going to try to start a new save some 60+ hours into the game.

I'm so happy to hear you're enjoying the playthrough 🫶

"Were they doing dirty and squirty with mutants?" OMG I'm dying lol!

Thanks for the info. I'll check out the movie :D
22:22 probably such upgrade is not avalible for that specific suite, it might appear if you find an appropriate blueprint

Glad you enjoyed! Will def look it up :D
This place, where the sniper killed you, belongs to the Ward, because this is their base.

Strelok it's main character in STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl. I'm really recommend you play in this game....

Ooooh yeah you're right. There are so many names and factions, it's overwhelming sometimes
Now this is how we party in eastern europe, one pickle and a bottle of vodka, zdravo!
Може бомжі так вечірки влаштовують?
And dont forget the pickled fish, delicious with vodka :)
Haha yesss

Nooo that's so sad 😭😭 I've had some bugs but nothing gamebreaking. Hope they'll patch it or something :(
Where do you get your accent from? You definitely sound as if you were able to speak one of the Slavic languages :O
I'm from Georgia! I know Russian too :D
@@MiniMaritsa glory to Sakartvelo then :D
You play the game the same way i did. You pay attention to details and the story, i love that . This game brought a much deeper depth of lore
I'm glad you're enjoying the playthrough! I try to play everything like that, it's much more fun 😁
