I don't think I know any other bands that play this kind of music. I don't know what kind of person Mana-sama really is but what I do know is that he is god in music. His style is so ORIGINAL. I love him!!!
At this stage there were 3 members of the band. Kazuno(bass)Mana(guit)Juka(voice) shortly after, the drummer joined officially. After that K (guit) joined.. There was a photograph taken from a live where they used a session violin player. Therefore the maximum people in one photo would be 6. Currently the band consists of a new bassist, drummer and vocalist. 5 members in total..
This band could've been greater with only this formation for me this is the best one Moi Dix Mois ever had. But must be hard to work with someone like Mana he composes everything and don't let you to compose your own shit for your instrument sometimes...

This music style has been big for years in Europe. The look not so much, but the music. It is put into a style called "Avant-Garde" Metal. There are a few bands like it, Arcturus, Borknagar, Beherit, some new Rotting Christ, and Sigh, who are from Japan.
I love the visuals and all, but I'd love to see Mana doing a shredding solo! :3 Also, the fact that no-one's playing the piano/keyboard parts really annoys me DX Like they aren't playing it themselves, even though they are xD

Es cierto que Mana ha tenida una gran influencia en el movimiento visual, tanto en el campo de la moda como en el musical cuando estaba en Malice Mizer, pero actualmente la música que compone se acerca muchísimo más al gothic metal que al visual. Ojo, yo no digo que el visual kei no sea válido ni nada de eso, es que muchas veces se relaciona a MDM con éste género de forma equivocada.
