Personally, I think you deserve a week off. Scratch that, two weeks off, especially with your family in such a critical situation. So much work was done for this fanfic, and I would rather you take a break until things settle down than continuing to write fanfictions under such stressful conditions. If you try to write when you are so burnt out, you might lose the motivation to continue writing permanently, and I am pretty sure no one here wants that. Take a break, let things settle down at home, then return to writing.
Oh, and one last thing: "The music selection hasn't been very varied." Don't care about that (sometimes, too much variation can be a bad thing), the music that you picked felt so right when they played, especially Moon Yellow, as I felt a few internal chords being pulled as the Commander, Tirpitz, and their daughter embraced with the world collapsing around them, and makes me wish that when the Commander finally finds the route where everyone lives, and has a daughter with Tirpitz, Tirpitz and their daughter somehow remember this moment: the familial hug before the darkness. I know I'll be returning to that section of the video many times in the future (currently at number 8 ... or was it ten? around there, lost count, enjoy it that much; I can even visualize the familial hug in my head). Excellent story telling.
This was absolute Gold. I'm honestly surprised and glad on the way the story went and boy I enjoyed it. Thanks for this excellent story you gave us. Love it!
So basically the Commader felt alseep during the date with Tirpiz (altrady a big mistake) but then procced to live trough 7 nightmare of alternative futures, see a hypotetical future with Tirpiz and daugther and then wake up. Man don't you just hate when you take a nap, and suddently you're in an alternative universe? Ryuma I have no idea what you smoke but you gotta share some of that with me, I want your same level of immagination!
For that last part, it's not his imagination that's impressive, it's his ability to translate it to writing. I mean reading some of his sentences I'm like "HOLY DESCRIPTION!!!" I'm also just pissed that I hadn't discovered his channel or azur lane in general sooner becuase the writing would have helped for my creatice writing exams.
I want to confirm. So, when the commander had the date with Tirpitz, he had a kind of dream/vision about another (or other) timelines, when he sees Tirpitz at the bar, she is the Tirpitz from another timeline that the daughter shows him . They had. In the line where that tirpitz comes from, after the girl reveals that she is from another timeline and that she is looking for a replacement for her father, she indirectly gives the commander a vision of her future ( his death of her). When everything falls apart, the commander wakes up again in the meeting with Tirpitz with the knowledge he acquired and when Tirpitz mentions the survey about what would happen if they had a daughter, he confirms to the commander that what he saw is a possibility of his future or his confirmed future. if he has a daughter with tirpitz. (note: it actually took me a little while to understand what happened, but this attempt at a very obvious theory or understanding was the best I could understand. If you have any corrections it is welcome, it would help me know if what I thought is correct Or if I just said a lot of nonsense here)
Don't worry. Your theory is fine. The truth is that there are at least 3 different ways to see how everything happened. You said one of them, so don't feel like it was a crazy theory.

Each dream partly reflects a different choice of Shipgirl; that's why, although I had Tirpitz, you could imagine your favorite Shipgirl there. However, we could switch Tirpitz, in all those situations, with our favorite shipgirl, am I correct about this?

Props to you, I always get way to immersed in these because I find it very easy to see myself in commander to the point where I could think similarly to commander but the moment you threw this into the mix, i don’t even know what to say, I have never seen something like this before, I’m at a loss for words, absolute last thing I expected and I commend you for this. This fanfic was CRAZY, and a little confusing but eh whatever. The only thing I want to point out is that pace of the writing is a little too fast. In a couple cases Id be half way through reading then it will continue. So I have to go back and/pause. Its not the end of the world but it is inconvienient.
